Hello there! My name is Pear, and I decided to come to RF on a quest to search for answers. I was raised a Methodist, then I searched into the LDS Church, shortly quit that as it didn't seem right. I drifted away from God, and am slowly losing contact with other Christians I know. I came to RF to do a few things, one being if I can be helped finding a religion that encompasses all religions, but that is unlikely. I also came with the intent on getting help on creating my own belief system, for myself, and those who might want to believe (but it will really just be for me). Anyways, enough of that! I'm from Colorado, I live up in the mountains. I have Swedish heritage, my family is also from Oklahoma. I'm not sure what else to put here, but yeah. I'm glad to be here! Thanks for reading. :)

Why would you want a religion that encompasses all religions? Why not look for the one religion God wants you to have? And make up your own religion? Can you do better than God? Let God come to you and reveal what He wants for you. Relaxand give God a chance.

Welcome to RF Pear. It's always good to have fruit around, and Swedish fruit at that (I'm full Swede myself). Sweden was just declared to be the sexiest country in the world.

Sweden's crowning is at that 3:20 mark (No need to have to sit through all the loosers.)

Welcome, @Pear.

To me there is no religion which encompasses all religions. But there are spiritual paths which acknowledge all religions as partially true and partially false as the "blind men and the elephant" story illustrates.

Hi Pear. Nice to know there is an international mix here. I am a German living in the UK. I am interested to know why you wish to create a religion, what are your motives or reasons for doing so?

Hello there Pear (my greeting rhymes, good eh?). Searching for a religion that encompasses everything? Look up Omnism, not sure you can really blend conflicting religious beliefs into anything very meaningful, but it's a start. Have fun on the forum!:)

I just don't believe in any religions I have came across (I have studied most religions that are common and easy access, and looked into smaller lesser known ones), but I believe that there are deities and that afterlife does exist, but I want to "create" a religion to find out what that is for me. Like, find what I believe in, since I don't believe in any of the other religions.
