Did Jesus exist?

Alex Jones is questioning if Sandy Hook happened at all.

Doesn't really mean it has much value.

No, mostly an invention of Paul.

Paul doesn't give a great many details on the life of Jesus, he mostly cares about his resurrection.

If the guy was the promised 'Messiah' why did most Jews not recognise him as such, and are still looking for it to put in an appearance?

As people who are dead don't come to life again, the resurrection claim is untrue.

Because he fulfilled none of the requirements.

Because he fulfilled none of the requirements.

Which is one of the most compelling reasons that he did exist as a chap.

No one is going to invent a character that implausible and then have to bend over backwards to create some convoluted backstory that sort of, perhaps, if you squint a little, and take with a pinch of salt could almost, sort of, in a very approximate way, make him, nearly, match some of the necessary requirements, a little, perhaps.

This has always been my thinking, too.

He was born in Bethlehem---He was pierced through---they gambled for His clothing and cast l lots for His outer garment---none of his bones were broken.

There are others but it is statistically impossible for anyone to fulfill 4 prophecies.

I am of the opinion a guy called Jesus did exist 2000 years ago, but ...
That's nice, but be advised that (a) the topic has been raise here incessantly, and (b) this iteration shows little chance of being more than a tiresome rerun. Sorry.
