Voltaire Said If God Didn't Exist, Then It Would Be Necessary To Invent Him Him

Isn't this true? In the atheist world, God doesn't exist so the atheist scientists have invented him. They call it singularity, invisible particles, quantum mechanics, the Big Bang, abiogenesis, theory of evolution, dark energy, dark matter, and such. Some of it has science involved, but not enough of their invention is testable and falsifiable. Oh, they have spent billions on the LHC to find the invisible particles, sophisticated equipment to find evidence of gravitational waves or biology equipment to produce living matter from existing living matter, but have they actually created anything? Recently, they claim they will find microbes in outer space or other planets within ten years. While impressive, have they found the smoking gun? Isn't that why atheist scientists argue so hard and won't peer-review any God-based creation? They have nothing else to hang their hat on besides their "inventions" so to speak. If I am wrong on this, then where are the tests?

OTOH, if God did exist as the believers with faith believe, then there wouldn't be need to deny the truth. Is creation testable and fasifiable? Yes, it is. Can believers show that the atheist scientists models do not work? Yes, they can.

The scientific model of creation includes the scientific evidence for a sudden creation of complex and diversified kinds of life, with systematic gaps persisting between different kinds and with genetic variation occurring within each kind since that time.

What a load of drivel. Sorry but you really are scraping the barrel now.
God is defined as something like "the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being."
or "a superhuman being or spirit worshipped as having power over nature or human fortunes"

How do any of the scientific discoveries tick any of those definitions?

It’s true that he wrote it but he didn’t intend it to mean what you (and to be fair, countless before you) think it means. Voltaire - Wikipedia

In the atheist world, God doesn't exist so the atheist scientists have invented him.
Not really no. Scientific method has been used to come up with hypotheses and ultimately reach conclusions relating to areas traditionally attributed to gods such as the origins or the universe and life within it but it’s more than a stretch to call that “inventing God”.

Some of it has science involved, but not enough of their invention is testable and falsifiable.
It all is theoretically, but we don’t (currently) have the ability to do so. Nothing in that area is presented by professional scientists in their field as unquestionable truth though and that is why those scientists continue to work in those fields.

Oh, they have spent billions on the LHC to find the invisible particles, sophisticated equipment to find evidence of gravitational waves or biology equipment to produce living matter from existing living matter, but have they actually created anything?
Have they ever claimed they would or could create anything? This kind of science is about studying what exists rather than making new things.

OTOH, if God did exist as the believers with faith believe, then there wouldn't be need to deny the truth.
Which believers? There is no single consistent definition for what God (or the gods) is or how creation came to be. Even believers of nominally the same religion can’t agree on the details before we even talk about all the different religions, faiths and individual theological beliefs.

The scientific model of creation…
Doesn’t exist.

There's an atheist world?

Yeah, Atheist World is a new theme park that's going to open up right down the road from those creationist museums. Did you miss the memo?

In all seriousness, though, I see how the argument makes sense from a certain point of view, but I don't agree applying the word "god" to something where the person doesn't use it themselves. Unless an atheist tells you that they deem singularities, the bing bang, and so forth as objects of worship (aka, gods), I don't find it appropriate to to that. That is creating nothing but false gods for that person, and forcing our perspectives onto them. While interesting for comparative purposes, it does not make for a persuasive argument.

Quantum mechanics is god? Wow, I must be a theologian, then.

I don't pretend to understand quantum mechanics. I don't even see why the speed of light in a vacuum cannot be exceeded.

I guess I am an atheist's atheist.

If you claim to understand quantum mechanics, you do not understand it. (R. Feynman).

Sorry, but with this "atheist scientists" claim you obviously don't know that a good chunk of scientists are not atheist. There are more atheists among scientists than the general population, but yet nevertheless many of them do believe in some sort of god.
And when you sayd "if god did exist as the believers with faith believe," who's faith? Who's religion? Who's god?
And, as a friendly reminder those who reject Creationism and Christianity and/or accept evolution as fact are not necessarily, automatically, or inherently atheists.

Honestly, the only way of hoping to fix the problem is to reformat your hard disk and start from scratch. Next time, try to avoid downloading and installing so much malware.

Soooo tired of the science bashing religious cases -- especially remarks like "but have they actually created anything?"

What, you mean like the computer you used to post this? Or the medical miracles that save millions of lives every year, or repair damaged babies, or machines that can fly us around the world, or....

To be fair, for people who (apparently) have no normal cognitive dissonance response, trying to formulate a consistent and meaningful model of the world has to be very difficult, if not impossible.

Your lack of understanding of theology is about the same as your lack of understanding of science.

I didn't say it, but Voltaire did. There's no reason to invent God when we do not disavow him and believe in his existence and love. Every time I come on here, there is some internet atheist beotching about his miserable life and then wanting evidence for God. Why should he care if God doesn't exist? If I was an atheist, I wouldn't care. I'd call myself jbburnsinhell and wouldn't waste my time on religious forums. Thus, why should an atheist care if God doesn't exist? It's because he needs the answers. And the atheists scientists write books to give him the answers. None of it is science. There is no evidence. All of it is philosophy to put it kindly. It's scientific bullshat to separate atheists from their hard earned money.

Back to the misery. The typical internet atheist disavows God, so there is no evidence he will accept. Instead, he has to accept responsibility for all the cr*p that goes on in his miserable life and try to make his life better. Not only is his life miserable, he has to go find reasons for why his life is so. How did he get here? Why does the planet work this way? The internet atheists do not read books to find the answers. They just come on here and beotch and hope someone gives him the answers. He doesn't even know where his worldview comes from. It's laughable.

Doesn’t exist.

You didn't or couldn't explain what he meant, so I came up with a valid explanation of my own. It's true that man invented something to explain how all of this came about. People need science, religion and experiences to back up their worldview. Many atheists believe in this based on faith since there is no evidence. For example, Neil DeGrasse Tyson. What an idiot. It's like NASA's chief scientist saying we'll find aliens within ten years and he'll believe it and promote it.

Well, the way I interpret what you just said is these atheist scientists inventing God. They won't peer-review a Creator, so they have to find something else that acts like God to peer-review.

There hypotheses and then there are theories, laws and principles that many accept. Usually, it's disagreement and then agreement and more agreement.

Yeah, abiogenesis was to create life and singularity, dark energy and matter was to create an universe. Mutated products was manufactured to give people longer life, more food, clean up their environment and so on but it's done the opposite.

I can only speak for the Christians and their creation science. Baraminology is slowly being put together. Reverse engineering all the species is no easy task. There isn't a consistent picture of what Lucy looked like either, but a poor collection of bones. It's a ridiculous and racist theory, really that we evolved from chimpanzees-like-apes. Even the scientist who put it together says that apes descended from humans.

Ha ha. Boy, do you live in the dark ages. Creation science is very real and the atheist scientists steal ideas from them. For example, they used catastrophism to explain the extinction of dinosaurs.
