Kind of?

Apart from philosophical relativism, EVERY approach to thinking has at its foundation at least one axiom. You could potentially say that axioms are statements of faith. If you take this line of reasoning, then you could say that scientists *have faith* in:

- critical thinking
- logic
- verifiable evidence
- the value of discovery
- parsimonious explanations

Well in the bible the prophets say to their people, you yourself are a temple to God. If a person puts their faith in God they are a temple of God. If money is their high tower they are a temple of money. So those who trust in science to see them through are a temple of science.

No, but there are museums I suppose. You know that whole education thing? Perhaps it would be prudent to actually try to learn a bit of legit science instead of these threads? Probably more productive.

Science is based upon doubt, not faith:

Only in your mind.

Oh, and congratulations on asking the most monumentally stupid question of the day.
Given the level of discussion on RF recently, that is no small feat. Please
Regards.

I don't think they would be considered "temples," although there are a lot of science museums out there for learning and enlightenment.

I recall this little number back when Disneyland used to have their "Adventure Through Inner Space" ride, "Miracles From Molecules":

I suppose if one believes that humans can make their own "miracles," then maybe it implies a degree of faith in humanity and our constant search for more knowledge and understanding of the universe in which we live.
