Adam was not being "physically created" in Genesis 1 & 2

Gen 2:7-8 And Jehovah God forms the man—dust from the ground, and breaths into his nostrils breath of life, and the man becometh a living creature. 8And Jehovah God plants a garden in Eden, at the east, and He sets there the man whom He hath formed;

So, in Gen 2:7 it says man became… So what was he before he became? We think we have the answer.

Gen 2:7 And Jehovah God formed the man out of [--OUT OF-- IS NOT IN THE HEBREW] (dust from the ground), and blew into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Please see for yourself and reply, then I will show you it was a spiritual formation/creation that God made.

A non-living form.

Of course you do.

From Book 3 of The Christian MythBuster Series ....

This Holy Breath [NOT OXYGEN] of God is the same as the one that is implanted by the Church like a seed in Christians. During their baptism, which, if person’s free will permits, will sprout holiness and bring forth the fruits of the Holy Spirit if he/she does not extinguish (quench) the spirit.

What’s also important to stress here, is Adam did not turn back into a lifeless, earthen statue when (after his disobedience) he lost the grace of God’s Holy Breath. If this was O2 as has been held, that’s what we should expect, because he went from not living (dead), to a living soul (after God breathed on him), back to dead (no Holy breath again). Furthermore, if Adam (man) were biologically dead at the moment that God blew His breath upon him, then the Bible would not have characterized him as “man!” Without the Holy Spirit, human beings are “soul-beings, lacking the Spirit” (Jud 19).

In the OP, I said...... Please see for yourself and reply, then I will show you it was a spiritual formation/creation that God made.
So you want us to refute the idea that adam was not being psychically created. Wouldn't that rely entirely on interpretation and be utterly pointless to argue one way or the other?

Are you kidding? Are you a Christian? This is one of the most fascinating things I've ever heard and you think it's boring?
To be perfectly honest i'm not and although I have tried to be in the past it's never taken really. In fact I don't care much for Jesus period he's never really been someone I thought was all that inspiring.

I don't believe I used the word boring I used the word pointless. Because what difference does it make exactly?

Actually, the Hebrew bible indeed states the "material" of which Adam was formed.

וַיִּיצֶר יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶת-הָאָדָם, עָפָר מִן-הָאֲדָמָה, וַיִּפַּח בְּאַפָּיו, נִשְׁמַת חַיִּים

It was Dirt.
this is the reason why Jewish people do not bury their deceased in coffins.
It was also told by God that humans are made out of dirt, and to that dirt they will return when dead.
The precise term the Hebrew bible uses is : Dirt from the ground (earth)

I was referring to Jayhawker, but it would make a difference to a nonbeliever too, because this means Adam was not the first human, which means the Bible does not conflict with science.

It states that Adam is the dirt man, it does not state that is what God made him out of, was my point. Please relook at it.

So um.

How does it work now?
Thanks for asking. It works in that God made a spiritual -- not a physical creation. I like to point out that Jesus blew in the disciples faces, John 20:22. How is this different? In Polynesian cultures, a father blows in the face of an infant to show the world, that infant is his.

Well this isn't the only area where the bible disagrees with science last I checked and even if the bible had no major conflicts with science I wouldn't say we should take it to be truthful overall.

Adam was created, Gen 1:27. Gen 2:7 tells us what God created him from and how God made him a living soul

This is the literal translation:

וַיִּיצֶר יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶת-הָאָדָם

And Jehova Elohim created the man (Adam)

Breakdown:

וַיִּיצֶר
And created

יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים
Jehove Elohim (God)

אֶת-הָאָדָם
THE man (Adam)

עָפָר מִן-הָאֲדָמָה, וַיִּפַּח בְּאַפָּיו, נִשְׁמַת חַיִּים

dirt from the earth. And God "blew" life into him.

וַיִּיצֶר יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶת-הָאָדָם עָפָר מִן-הָאֲדָמָה, וַיִּפַּח בְּאַפָּיו, נִשְׁמַת חַיִּים

And Jehove Elohim (God) created the man(Adam) dirt from the earth, and God "blew" life into him.
