Mestemia, That only means honest discussion you on the topic will not be possible.

The belief that the Bible is debunked by science. I believe you have no valid facts.
except that is not what I said.
rusra02 says that NOTHING in the Bible has been debunked by science.
Because he believes such, honest discussion is not possible.
Rabbits do not chew cuds and the mustard seed is not the smallest seed.

I believe I can't do that until you say what facts you think you have.
except you claimed you can...
This looks like back peddling to me.

I believe you have made an assumption with no basis in facts.
Except you have already proven my point...

I believe I do not go by assumption but rely on facts. There are many people on RF who believe in science but none of them has come up with anything valid. If there actually was something one would think it would be better known. Like rusra02 I just don't believe there is anything.
And once again I will flat out say that honest discussion on the topic is not possible with those who believe that nothing in the Bible can be debunked.

You are going to hell because that is what God says happens to people like you.

People like who? What exactly does a person have to do to be sent to hell?

Should Christians bear no responsibility for the awful things they say in the name of their vengeful God?

Vengeful God? Does a Judge who sentences the guilty for breaking law do so from vengeance?

When you break the law it isn't vengeance. The law is there to protect. If you break it knowing the consequence it is not vengeance it is justice.

I believe you are now supplying facts for discussion so it looks like you wee wrong about that.

I believe I might be splitting hairs but the text does not seem to directly say that the mustard seed is the smallest but uses the word "though" which is not a direct statement word. The object of this parable is not to teach science but simply to teach that big things can come from small beginnings.

Rabbits solve this problem via a form of hindgut fermentation.

foregut fermentation is the form of cellulose digestion seen in ruminants such as cattle which have a four-chambered stomach which digests cellulose.

I believe it is a difference in thinking ie scientists break the fermentation into fore an hind but God sees it as similar fermentation.

The idea that someone claims God said something is absurd. Prove it. Prove your imaginary friend exists in the first place. Having blind faith is not proof. I'm not interested in what someone says, I'm interested in what they can prove.
The above was a computer generated statement. You can't tell me otherwise because no one saw anyone typing it in. You are an imaginary person hidden behind a program that reads and answers, much like Siri.

Incidentally, I am not interested in blind statements... I WANT PROOF that you are real.

That's when you look up at the sky and say, "What? OK, I'll tell him: God just told me you're ugly and your mother dresses you funny".

If they get mad, just say, "Hey, God said it. Not me".

It is possible to prove. Now show that it is possible to prove God. Go ahead, we'll wait... a very, very long time.

Your statement isn't proof. :) That's why I know you are a computer.

I said it's possible. You can come and meet me. Now tell us how we can objectively do that with God.
You can come and meet me and I will help you receive Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will bear witness in you that you are a child of God and you will be saying Abba Father.

Funny, I've had people claim that before and it's never worked. What makes you so sure you'd be successful?

For Jesus to fulfill JUST 8 of the 300 prophecies - the odds are 1 x 1028 or 1 in 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Since no human can make that happen, it makes your statement irrelevant.

And please prove you are not a computer generated response.

None of those so-called prophecies are impressive. They just aren't specific. Most of them aren't prophetic in the first place. They are things taken in retrospect by the anonymous Gospel writers and applied to Jesus, without any independent evidence that Jesus ever did any of them, or even existed at all.

I could pull "prophecies" out of context from tons of movies, books and TV shows and arbitrarily apply them to a character I invent. That doesn't mean that said character actually fulfilled anything.

Hmmm.... no. they were very specific.

They aren't impressive to you because, IMO, nothing that can be said would be enough for you anyway.

Add the other 292 specific prophecies and you have.... God :)

No, specific means they give a specific time and a specific place and specific people, by name, such that you know exactly when these prophecies are supposed to come true before the fact. What you have are claims that can only be "fulfilled" in retrospect. You can only take something that may or may not have been prophetic in the first place and say "oh yeah, that kind of fits".

Add the other 292 specific prophecies and you have.... God :)

Well you have delusion at least.

The fact that all these prophecies happened in a specific frame of time in one person is specific enough. And things like "Born in Bethlehem, Crucified in hands and feet, no bones broken etc" has absolutely no "oh yeah, that kind of fits" but rather... WOW, IT IS SO SPECIFIC AND FITS PERFECTLY.

So, I don't agree.

I don't care about your agreement, I care about the facts. You haven't even looked into these so-called prophecies, you just blindly believe. It doesn't matter to you that when Matthew 2:4-6 uses Micah 5:2 to claim that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem, that Micah isn't talking about Bethlehem the town, but Bethlehem Ephrathah the clan. It doesn't matter to you that in context, Micah is talking about a military leader that will lay waste to the lands of the Assyrians, as shown in Micah 5:6. You're just so emotionally tied to this Jesus idea that the facts just don't matter.

And that's pathetic.

I gave you facts but apparently you just blindly disbelieve. Similar to a flat earther.

And you have misinterpreted Bethlehem

3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christshould be born.
5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rulemy people Israel.

Notice it say "a Governor" out of the clan, specifically one person and nothing to do with the Assyrians.

Even the Jews of the time of Jesus understood that.

Apparently, you don't know how to read, which is hardly a surprise. Micah 5:2 reads, and I quote: “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” If you continue to read in context, you will get to Micah 5:5-6, which reads: "And he will be our peace when the Assyrians invade our land and march through our fortresses. We will raise against them seven shepherds, even eight commanders, who will rule the land of Assyria with the sword, the land of Nimrod with drawn sword. He will deliver us from the Assyrians when they invade our land and march across our borders."

It doesn't surprise me that you have no clue what your silly book actually says.
