Should antitheism have its own DIR?

Modern anti-theism is negativity.
-An anti-theist.

When Einstein's relativity was still gaining traction, i suppose it could have been called anti-newtonian. That's not really "negative" as in being a downer or pessimistic, it's simply opposing ideas.

Maybe there are atheists that would like to discussion religion without the negativity.
Antitheism and religion aren't mutually exclusive. A LaVey Satanism whom believes theism is destructive is a religious antitheist.

Frankly I have to moderate enough using dir as a cover to bash other beliefs without adding a dir specifically being antagonistic of another belief.

What she said, especially the second paragraph. A DIR specifically aimed at opposing outsiders behind the aegis of DIR rules would be the definition of a Rule 10 violation--a self-contradicting one.

Well, just an idea. It would be nice to be able to post a topic in the Atheist DIR without all the negativity. But it is not like it see much action anyways, and an anti-theism DIR would prob. see even less.

Only the whole basis of science is to peer review theories and laws, until the absolute truth of reality is distilled. Einstein pushing forward with his theories was as much in Newton's (ideological) favor as it was his own. The only people who would dare to call his theories "anti-Newtonian" would have been fools and idealists who treat science like a religion.

If I remember correctly the biggest problem Einstein faced was that there were very few people alive who actually understood what he was going on about. Once he gained the attention of those who did understand his fame rapidly spread.

Nope. We are not shallow enough to feel a need to hide in the cold comfort of our safe space. :)

But want if I am?

I say no, I only remained an atheist for a couple of weeks until going to anti-theism. I find that anti-theism is only offering reasons for the effects of god belief and it makes propositions on why god belief should be opposed or negated in conversation.

Anti-theists come in all kinds of flavors and you could be like me and hold a fondness for the conception of gods yet be anti-theistic in the pure basis that literal belief in them is damaging. Put it like this, is the concept of Santa gratifying, joyful and permissible in the winter holidays? I would say yes but the belief in a literal and existent Santa is something I would oppose.

When you look at anti-theism and its wide array of arguments it is nothing but atheism with positive claims. If you did this you would have to have a strong and weak atheist DIR which would be purely ludicrous.
