So I am a big X files fan. Really liked the season 10 reboot. Looks like they are working on a season 11 with 8 or ten episodes. I can hardly wait. Any thoughts on the new episodes from X Files fans?

I thought it was ok. I thought the story line was rushed and compacted into season 10. Hopefully, they'll use the timing better in the next season.

I'm still a huge fan but they could have done better.

I agree. They could have done a better job with a few more episodes. Still I did enjoy them. Mulder and Scully meet the were monster was great. I would like to see the series revived fully with original cast. IMO it would be a hit.

Yeah, that was the best episode in that season. It confused my wife because she thinks all the episodes are dark and serious.

The reboot didn't do it for me.

Who else knows the words to the X-Files theme music?
When I was very young I watched "The Host" (ep2/S2) at my grandparent's place. It traumatised me to the point that for years onward I would break out in panic every time I heard the X-files theme. I'm in my twenties now and that melody still gives me the chills. Even though the demon that haunted the dreams of my five year old self has long ceased to inspire my dread.

Then this might help.
According to the composer, the words are....
"The X-Files is a show,
with music by Mark Snow."
