Fuhrer Trump: No muslim welcome for 4 months

The people who work with refugees, most of whom are associated with Christian organizations, would state precisely how wrong you are. Vetting for refugees already takes years.
I will indeed continue to disagree with you as long as you continue to be absolutely wrong. These aren't matters of faith they're demonstrable facts. So there are in fact right and wrong answers.
Yes and you my friend are wrong, like it or not.

Obviously, you thought wrong.
I do somewhat regret that line, I don't even know if you are a leftist. Sorry.

Interesting that you think xtians deserve some sort of special recognition based on their religious beliefs in this scenario.
I think they deserve proper treatment, which has been denied. I wouldn't mind if we were especially going to take care of any group that had previously been ignored.

First of all, according to what statistics
According to the CIA World Factbook:
The World Factbook — Central Intelligence Agency

how do you know there isn't the same issue with atheists in Syria?
I don't. I don't know what the population of Syrian atheists is, or if they have been de facto barred from seeking asylum in America.

If they are in the same situation of having been ignored by America, we need to take care of that too.

I do to especially were they are from too treated well there. How ever I see an odd spin in it.

I did; of over 12,500 refugees admitted, fewer than 70 were Christian. Something in our policy was preventing Christians from coming in.
Trump’s claim that it is ‘very tough’ for Christian Syrians to get to the United States

'Gross injustice': Of 10,000 Syrian refugees to the US, 56 are Christian

There are two articles from varied biases discussing the issue. Note thathat neither can point to any policy by the u.s. that was intentionally discriminatory. If it is not overt, you need intent. The intent is there with Trump, not with Obama.

Both articles suggest poor treatment in camps as a reason, both articles suggest Christians not leaving by means of camps. You want to shift the blame of this obvious overstep and discriminatory action by trying to blame the previous administration, but I am not seeing how the previous administration is actually at fault. Do you have such an argument?

Long time no see! I don't know that it is hypocrisy.
I can't assess which Muslim countries are unacceptable risks compared to the others.
As for Saudi oil, we get very little from them. And the prices are so low that a great
many wells here have suspended operation. (I know a guy in the biz.) Perhaps our
military ties make them safer, the 9/11 situation (15 years ago) notwithstanding.
I wonder how much business Trump has in Saudi Arabia. I wonder how much Trump has invested in property in Saudi Arabia, I wonder how much money Saudi's have invested in Trump properties.

(edit)
Can you imagine Trump to telling his buddy Hussain Sajwani (who was at Trump's New Years Eve party) that he is no longer welcome in the U.S. ? - Awkward!

have you got any friends ?.

Ones who know how to have civil discussion even in the face of disagreement and who don't make up facts, yeah. Gonna stop trying to make personal attacks?

Refugees are highly vetted. It takes years to get here from other countries. And that wasn't all this ban did. I personally think that the Iraqi translator who helped US troops should be able to come here after putting his life on the line for America.

How do you feel? Or will we be digressing into another non-sequitor personal attack?

Its impossible to have a conversation with you, you are the one who has been personal. I have simply been defending myself. If refugees do the right thing in the right way then I have no problem with that, its keeping the idiots out of the country that I am on about, those who can be a danger to the decency of the western way of life.

Is it possible that you are having a separate dialogue with yourself? On the last page you entered saying "good..." this was referring to the executive order of "extreme vetting." You then went on to say that Obama let people in without going through the proper channels. You were challenged to provide your sources that this happened and you responded that the challenger was wrong. The challenger then responded that they were not your "friend" and asked you not to patronize them by referring to them as such. Your response? You questioned whether they had any friends. I don't see them attacking you, however your implication was easily interpreted as an attack. If you were "defending" yourself from the challenge of being wrong, why not simply offer evidence that Obama let people into the country without going through the proper channels as you had claimed?

Its not being challenged it her sticking attitude, what is wrong with her, I will not go on any further with someone like that, she is full of hate right from the start, I prefer to talk to someone who is intelligent !!.

Or something entirely different, as this is a clear correlation does not equal causation. Once again, they could be entering and not calling themselves Christian, the ratio of expected amounts of Christians could be completely off base, Christians could be going to other countries or using other channels more.
This is seriously not evidence of 'disgusting indifference towards Christians.' I want to see actual policy being discriminatory against Christians, not a vague reference to a statistic with a questionable conclusion.

Perhaps you are bringing in feelings from another thread. Reread the dialogue in this thread. If you see it as hateful, please elaborate. Though I have used the phrase "my friend" before as well, someone sloughing that term when you bestow it upon them is not hateful. I know you try to take a laugh-at-life and not-take-things-serious approach, so I imagine you did not mean to patronize with the term. But someone recoiling from the term does not mean they are attacking you. Do you see how the question "do you have any friends?" Is attacking though?

Yes I do, but she was so disgusting in her attitude, that it made me say things that I wouldn't normally say, can you understand that, I was hurt by her......I'll finish here before I say too much.

No, I don't need intent; I have results. I also never claimed intent; I claimed disregard/a paucity of concern for the lack of Christian refugees. Which the results and that there was nothing done to rectify them, until Trump, shows.

America is not bound to select only out of U.N. refugee camps. That is an administrative decision, one which precluded Christians by and large (and possibly other religious minorities) and I place responsibility for that decision exactly where it goes.

You can't just say "Oops, sorry, it was the U.N. camps and not me. :^)"

I agree right now they all should be stopped, its getting out of hand, you don't know who to trust after stupid Obama letting everyone in without going through the proper channels, surely you must agree with that, but then again you don't seem to agree with anything lol..

It is hard to agree with ignorant prattle.

We'll find out won't we.

Not overly concerned with that, I think the results are the most important thing (begin edit) in this regard (end edit). As said above, I'm going to get what I want. If it turns out that we don't get an increase in Christian refugees because they are using other methods of immigration or staying in other countries and it was just a lack of demand, I'll recant my position. If we do have an increase, will you?
