Xeper Happens

When I was in my early twenties just shortly after I first left the Temple of Set for personal reasons, I suffered from a deep depression and spiritual stagnation. I felt lost and without direction or purpose, but one afternoon I discovered a passion within my being. I was laying in my bed listening to a recording of J.S. Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in d minor" and for some reason something dormant within me was triggered. My depression was washed away and a clear focus and desire to learn that piece of music came into being. And during the process of learning the Toccata and Fugue an even greater determination, passion, and true will arose within me to study and learn music and melodic theory, and to master piano keyboard technique that I may create musical works of my own. I devoted the next 8+ years of my life to this goal, attending Brook Fine Arts Academy, spending almost 9 hours a day, seven days a week tirelessly studying and practicing. I had already been playing the piano and guitar long before this.

What ever it was specifically about the Toccata and Fugue that awoke the spirit of Xeper within me that day I am not sure, but it did happen.

If xeper were a real thing(ie the temple of set had a secret with regards to becoming MORE than the average person), would you not expect to see Setian world leaders, Setians leading the way in the scientific community, Setians making great inventions, and accomplishing great things?

I don't see any of that. Can you explain?

O hell SSE, maybe some of these Setians you speak of wish to remain anonymous in a hostile world view and environment that is against Setians and Satanists. Trust me, they are out there!

Perhaps it's simply not their desire to be in a position of power, or perhaps it's not positions of power that are optimal. A teacher would be much better placed to exert power over others than many positions for example. It's also certainly not necessary to identify with Setian ideology to Xeper.

For What? Where is the sence to lead a flock of sheep? We look after our own live, after our true will. Our goal is to live the live we want... I do not want to leed sheeps, for what.
RHP Leaders are looking for Sheep, to finance them, to have people pray to them, follow their words, because this is the only definition they have from their self. A Setian is defining his self out of his self... he needs no one, who follows, who thirst after his words. He needs no other persons to define the his self. So leading the world, a country or anything else, makes no sense.

Btw, Xeper is not a ToS "secret", the Word is for all and all humans are capable of Xeper, of becoming more than just the some of there parts. I imagine you have experienced Xeper in your life SSE. On a macrocosmic scale Xeper is that which transformed humans from what we were millions of years ago to that which we are today. Smart'n up dude.

If that is so, why is there grades in the ToS? Surely they must be teaching SOMETHING to justify the subscription?

And yes, everyone (at least most) tend to improve at things with practice. No secret there. If that's all it is though, why do you need a special concept for it? I mean, everyone does that.

I'm happy to be corrected here, as I've never been a member of the Temple. But my understanding is that the degrees are more personal in nature, more like roles. Most people don't require going beyond the second degree of Adept, which the vast majority of literature is targeted to. Individuals with certain leadership or other skills might advance higher.

I view the word Xeper as a convenient way to describe "coming into being". It's not really a "practice made perfect" concept. It represents a focused experience that causes an expansion of consciousness to occur thereafter. @Adramelek has described such a profound moment.

Certainly, we've all had similar experiences. But the word Xeper gives a more sacred name to these vitally important experiences in life, so that we can both appreciate these moments, and also desire and work towards more of them in the future.

The Temple of Set is an Initiatory School of Black Magic and like any other school of learning it has a grading/degree system -- 1st grade/degree, 2nd grade/degree, 3rd grade/degree and so forth. One attains the varying degrees by demonstrating a certain level of mastery and individual understanding.

Xeper is not about just simple self-improvement, it is about psychecentric evolution, becoming the complete and absolute manifestation of one's own True Being = "Entelecheia". It is a philosophy and Work of Life.

Xeper and Remanifest toward Entelecheia.
