Hi, all,

Recently, a Saudi family have lost funding from their country of origin because both the wife and husband left Islam:

A MUM-OF-TWO fears her family will be separated and deported after funding for her studies was cut off from her government.

Haifa Alshamrani, 29, from Saudi Arabia was studying a medical degree at Glasgow University after being awarded a scholarship last year from the Saudi Government.

But Haifa’s dreams quickly turned to a nightmare after her funding was cut off in November 2015, leaving the family, including husband Abdulla, 36, and children Mohammed, 10, and Gadah, seven, destitute.

Here's the link of the full story: http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/...ion_after_Saudi_government_cut_their_funding/

The family is currently at risk of being sent back to Saudi Arabia, and they currently need financial help while in the UK due to losing funding from Saudi Arabia and having their bank accounts frozen.

I'm starting this thread, after getting admin permission (like any other member would need to get), to ask for donations to their GoFundMe account. This issue hits very close to home for me, and the most I can do right now is try to help them get donations to aid them in their situation.

This is their GoFundMe account:
Thank you.

"Haifa will be sharing her story at a public talk on 2 June, at 7:30pm, in the Annie Besant Lodge, 17 Queens Crescent, St. George’s Cross, Glasgow, G4 9BL, hosted by the Scottish Secular Society. All are encouraged to attend. There will be a question and answer session after Haifa’s talk so you can learn more of their story and how you might be able to help."

We can assume her husband continues tutoring math, in the meanwhile.

Good advice would be for the couple to rejoin Islam and leave any doubts or expression for for when they finish their course. One must be practical.
