What happens when we die?

lol....can you be more specific?
Yea, of course we don't live on as our self, its just too silly to argue over, what on earth would live on ?. We are nothing but a conditioned programmed mind body organism, we are animated through with Consciousness, at the time of our so called death, that's it, Consciousness is no more, it has returned to its Source, just as a wave has emerged back to the ocean.

our astral body on the astral plane......and our soul body on the soul plane......in my opinion after much consideration

I don't claim proof but a preponderance of evidence from my studies on the paranormal and spirituality.
I also have my own evidence of an experience I had in Consciousness, but I would never argue about, for how can I, it was my own experience, an even that experience was only secondary to that which was experienced, words only collapse what IS into mere concept.

When we die, that its, its all over forever, but can you handle that ?.

What you post would be true if Not for Jesus paying the ransom price for us - Matthew 20:28
Adam sold us into the Pawn Shop of Death.
We need someone from the outside who can pay over the price for our release from death. From a forever death - Ecclesiastes 9:5
Jesus is like ready cash to pay off our sin debt.
Because sinless Jesus died a faithful death, Jesus now has the keys to unlock death for us - Revelation 1:18

Thanks for your reply, but I don't have any beliefs in what you said, I think man has always been frighted of death, and so we have these beliefs woven among our scriptures, but if what you believe helps you feel better about death, then that's good..

What happens when we die? Well for some, they put the body in a car and drive real slow around town causing traffic to be held up, until they get to a hole they dug in the ground. A priest/preacher talks about what a good person you were, and one or two people cry. And that is if you are lucky. That's what happens when a lucky person dies.

So if I pray to God will he let me reborn as a woman bishop? And how many Hail Marys would I have to say? ;)
I believe you could pray for God to give you the strength to murder your neighbor also but it will do you as much good.

I can identify with that. I prayed that God would punish my mother. By the time God finished with me, I had forgiven my mother.

I expect at least three people to cry when I die. Maybe four!

I beleive I am sorry my brother is no longer here but I am glad my brother-in-law has returned although I am not sure why he returned as a female. Maybe it wasn't his choice but God's judgement.

I don't believe I ever get comfortable with death. It is a consolation that I go on after death but I am starting to think that returning to this world as wicked as it is getting isn't good for my health and I may ask God for an alternative.
