Prophecies by Yeshua that Have Come True

  • That Israel was divorced due to the fulfillment of Zechariah 11; thus cast out from the nation.
  • That the second temple was destroyed, because of him being ignored.
  • That there will be false teachers after him, that will corrupt what he taught (Paul).
  • That there will be false teachers claiming to be him, using the term 'I Am', which will deceive many (false gospel of John, Paul on the road to Damascus, Revelations first & last chapter).
  • That Simon was a stumbling stone (petros), who would be used by satan.
  • That they will teach you get free inheritance from his death; yet receive condemnation instead.
  • That his words shall remain.
  • That people have been chastised for following his teachings by the synagogues/churches.
  • That the gospel shall be preached to the whole world, as a testimony against them.
  • That his church would be established by Simon the stone (petros).
  • His betrayal, manner of his death, and resurrection.
What other prophecies by Yeshua within the synoptic gospels have come true? :innocent:
How many of these supposed prophecies meet all of the following criteria?

Criteria for a valid prophesy

A valid prophecy must meet several criteria:

- It must actually be a prophecy. Not a documentation of events that is misinterpreted as a prophecy after a similar event occurs later.
- It must be written before the events that it predicts.
- The predicted events must actually occur.
- The prediction must be both falsifiable and verifiable
- It must not be overly vague.
- It must not predict a likely event.
- It must not be self-fulfilling

Some of those prophecies are a bit vague and others I don't remember — where does Jesus prophesy his resurrection? There are also the ones that didn't come true, like the passages in Mark:
There are some of these standing here who will not taste death until they have seen the kingdom of God already come in power.
… the end is near … the present generation will live to see it all.
Pray that it will not come in winter. For those days will bring distress such as never has been since the beginning of the world …
The last remark pretty well prevents the interpretation of the coming of the kingdom as the establishment of Christianity.

I have high-lighted the above as Paul, as per prophecy of Jesus, was to oppose Jesus' teachings. Paul was to prove to be the seed of the Anti-Christ and his associate the Church when full blown was to become the Anti-Christ.

The Church might be the antichrist because it teaches false words but it is the false words that are the real antichrist imo.

In other words, it isn't the person or the organization that is it. It is what they have and hold that is it.

So people are looking for a big bad antichrist and it turns out it is a book. It shouldn't be funny but it is.

You can explain whatever ideas you have, of course. The point is, I am connected to the Scripture, as /theoretically, a Jesus adherent would/should be. The Book, being 'the anti-Christ', is a de facto reference to my beliefs.
Yes, I believe you. I am also connected to it so I understand. But it does not lead me.
How many people do you think it leads? Most? What happens in a world where most people are going the same way? The fewer must go with them, die, or go into space. So the people of the World will end up where the book leads them.

The Bible parallels my beliefs. It can 'lead me', thusly. I'm not sure why you think that that is a problem.
What if it is wrong in places and you obey the wrong places? If it leads you you will be led wrong. Why not? So you must believe it can't do that. You are serving it.

You want me to guess? I will say that it does not parallel or lead, many self professed ''Christians'', in my opinion. So, if your argument is along the lines of the Bible misleading people, i disagree.
I think most people know the Bible says that God's command through Jesus is to make disciples. The air is full of it.

People have the Bible. /Some slightly differing translations. Are you saying that theoretically, they would be better off without it?
If you are saying that one is served ignoring the Bible, and pretending that one doesn't have it, this is imaginary circumstance justification.
I would not be better off without it so I can't be saying that.

If they knew the book would become the antichrist it would not have been written. Who would have written it?

where does Jesus prophesy his resurrection?
Matthew 16:21, Luke 9:22, Mark 8:31... There is also the bit about the sign of Jonah; yet that isn't as specific. :)
If they knew the book would become the antichrist it would not have been written. Who would have written it?
The Anti-Christ is the Marvelous Work of YHVH, he established it as a snare before the nations by the prophets, everything happened as it is written. ;)
How many of these supposed prophecies meet all of the following criteria?
Most of them match all the criteria, the ones that are less specific are the ones designating people, as they are ambiguous descriptions, that fit after the event....

This is why most people don't recognize that the Anti-Christ's teachings is Christianity, established by John, Paul and Simon the stone (petros); yet the evidence is there to understand, if people are willing to question. :innocent:

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad whose mission is to destroy Dajjal or the Anti-Christ describes:

DAJJAL OR THE ANTICHRIST
The word Dajjal has two connotations: First, it signifies a group which supports falsehood and works with cunning and deceit. Secondly, it is the name of the Satan who is the father of all falsehood and corruption. [Haqiqat-ul-Wahi, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 22, p. 326]

You forgot to mention the one where Jesus says he will return before this generation passes away. Or is that in John?

Paul never met Yeshua, contradicts numerous teachings of his, goes against the Tanakh, etc, and I'm not the only one saying it, posted the list of numerous award winning theologians who've also recognized it.

Don't know, you tell me what you think it is....

This was in reply, and based on the question made sense; now you're taking it out of any context, and redirecting it.

It was based on Yeshua not even existing, and the whole text being made up; which then begs the question, why and for what cause.

It's not wild; it is taught in theology.

Petros (peter) means a stone, a small pebble.

It is also the gospel of John, and Simon the stone (petros) that are responsible for these teachings, and they've originated due to Pharisaic oral traditions. ;)
Your last sentence is only your guess. John was the most greek-gnostic of the gospels, not jewish. It also contains inserted theology not present in the synoptics. But I like the rest of your post.

John is made up, it isn't the words or teachings of Yeshua, and contradicts him on multiple points. ;)
Do none of these people study the history of the NT? I don't mean the NT itself, I mean the actual historic compiling of the books? If they did they would know that the gospel of "John" could not have been written by any of the 12. It came too late and was written by someone who spoke Greek as his first language. It was also redacted many times.

hi everyone, i know this is way off topic but I'm new to the site and trying to get a feel for it. Just a brief question, would you agree that the word Allah is used to refer to God in the bible
