Trump's divisive Comments

Mr Trump was in the news recently threatening to keep out muslims from the US - he wants to hold a religious test in which muslims will automatically fail. But change the word US to Heaven and isn't it what religions like Christianity and Islam have been saying for centuries now? Heaven is segregated by religion, God will hold a religious test - you get a pass only if you are a Christian or Muslim, respectively, and others like us Hindus, Buddhists, Atheists are turned away - worse, we must suffer in hell for our "crime" of religion. Does this not remind you of Jews in Germany, seen not as human beings but seen only for their religion, hated, discriminated and sent to mass extermination camps - amazingly that is the view being expounded by the dominant religions of the day

While Mr Trump has been mocked soundly and rightly, no one holds the dominant religions to the same standard - a case of might makes right? A case of Victor's writing history books?

Funny thing though is that when faced with discrimination, there is instant enlightenment. Whether it is Christians under ISIS or muslims facing persecution as in the above, we get - "We should not judge people by religion, we are all human beings with families, loved ones, with hopes and desires like everyone else etc etc" - but once they become the majority, face no more discrimination, back comes the "you are all going to hell because you do not believe as we do etc etc".

Honestly, religious people are some of the most immoral people on this planet

So eh comparing a country to a religion?

Heaven is segregated by religion, God will hold a religious test - you get a pass only if you are a Christian or Muslim, respectively, and others like us Hindus, Buddhists, Atheists are turned away - worse, we must suffer in hell for our "crime" of religion. No. The Jews were hated for their heritage not their religion.

While Mr Trump has been mocked soundly and rightly, no one holds the dominant religions to the same standard - a case of might makes right? A case of Victor's writing history books?

Religion is not involved in people's lifes in America which is secular.

If you don't believe in Hell, what exactly is your problem?

"Divisive comments"? No. What Trump does is more like an auditory & mental variant of the kind of diarrhea you get after eating a bad fish sandwich from McDonald's.

What? Me worry?

Gotcha. I never eat fish from a fast food establishment.

Something is wrong with keeping the enemy out of your country?

The liberal agenda is to not blame islam for the Islamic terrorism, which is not fooling anyone.

The terrorism, war and violence of the middle east, the sectarian violence, can stay there as far as I'm concerned. I think most Americans agree.

We dont want their holy war here, and keeping these people out, solves the issue.

There are negative aspects, and it probably cannot be used, but his idea has a lot of merit.

Did we let japanese and germans in our country during WW2? NO and for really good reasons. The same reasons apply here in full.

You threw 2 atomic bombs on Japan killing hundred of thousands of innocent people and made millions of people refugees and orphans. The people in America who happened to be Japanese were arrested and thrown in concetration camps for having Japanese ancestors.

We dropped two atomic bombs which can be argued saved millions of Japanese lives and hundreds of thousands of USA soldiers lives.

The Japanese during this war were very barbaric people who did things so cruel, their wartime legacy needed to be stopped at any cost.

Better that a quarter million people "max estimate" die, then any of our own citizens stopping the axis of evil.

War is terrible. Next time anyone thinks about starting one they had better think about which toe of the giant you decide to scratch. Evil might get stepped on.

We stand for freedom, freedom for and from primitive religions and the fanaticism they breed. But that gift will only be stretched so far.

Rightfully so. We were at war with these people.

There are cost to be paid for war, and when Japan decided to take on a sleeping giant, they themselves created this circumstance. They have their previous government to blame.

Now islam, and a very large portion of islam, is messing with the whole globe and all other cultures of innocent people different from them, due to what most call mythology, mythology they refuse to address on an academic level due to fanaticism.

History in a hundred years will, I'm my opinion will look back on this, and it will be viewed as primitive and as barbaric as the Christians and the dark ages.

Rather, seems like we need to kick some of our enemies out.. And, most of them aren't Muslim or Mexican; they're white Christian, or otherwise conservative, extremists.

Liberal agenda placed us in this problem. Its why Trump is being well received for his comments.

Your a self proclaimed pacifist, how many American lives have to be murdered in cold cowardly blood before you would do something?

You think people who only wish to protect our citizens should be labeled conservative, extremists. ?

I think your comment was as out of context as much as this statement "Would you hand a terrorist his gun after he dropped it because your so liberal"

There is a balance here to maintaining safety, and if you think letting the enemy pour into the country by the thousand or hundreds of thousand's, is a good idea, you might be sorely mistaken.

It's quite fascinating seeing how you give the impression that you actually care about loss of human life but think atomic bombs are fine.
What is it? You can't have it both ways.

You think its rightful to arrest American citizens who were born in America and put them in concentrationcamps for having Japanese ancestry? Cut the bs about Islaam for a minute and look at yourself? Seriously?

Cut the bs about Islaam

Some people fit the stereotype of a religious fundamentalist who support terrorism, giving their religion a black eye.

Many do not.

I personally think your replies give credit to Trump, some people with ideology based on fanaticism have no business being let in a country based on freedom.

You so far are the only supporting terrorism and racism. Supporting atomic bombs, imprisoning innocent American citizens because of their heritage...What's next? Hitler was a great guy?

Saved lives. Sorry their own country caused their imprisonment, by starting a war they had no idea what they were getting into.

islam and terrorism, very well be making the same mistake, we have a right to protect ourselves from dangerous ideology.

Thank you for making it obvious.

We imprisoned Americans of Japanese descent. Full stop, that was wrong, racist and is widely acknowledged as such. Very different from the questions that confront us today on immigration and Muslims.

Their own country was America not Japan. They were AMERICAN CITIZENS.
