Your view of heaven

Veteran Member
Heaven, for lack of a better universal word, is whatever you believe the a positive afterlife would be.

i.e. Nichiren Buddhists, we believe in rebirth. Perfect wisdom of causality. I also believe spirits exist after death. So, heaven would be my being an ancestor to help family. Heaven is on earth.

How do you view heaven if or when you reach it?
If you are meeting someone in heaven, how would you describe your future experience if you can imagine it?
What would it be like to achieve full end of rebirth?

Im not familar with other beliefs of heaven. Remember. I cant find a universal word, so think of it as a positive afterlife.

In Hinduism heaven is something not sought after. That's just a 'place' where your positive karma is exhausted. Moksha is the goal of Hindus, and either merging with Brahman (God) or living with Brahman (Vishnu), depending on your tradition, is the end result. My view of heaven (vaikuntha) is that it's beyond human comprehension. Like the stargate in 2001 a space odyssey.

What is the point of all of this?

Is then Universe nothing but a swirling ball of Chaos and junk?

Is the meaning of life a purely subjective construct?

Is reality NOTHING MORE THAN YOU THINK IT IS?

The answer to this question, and all other questions is:

YES!!

On earth as is in heaven. "heaven" is here on earth. For all those who survive the great tribulation. 144,000 will reside in heaven and govern over the earth. That is the small flock, we are the large flock.

Who the hell would know about heaven, we cannot even understand our own environment, heaven is just a dream, nothing more.

I consider heaven to be the higher layers of the astral plane. A beautiful world composed from higher thoughts with the subtle matter of the astral plane. This heaven is not a final resting place as one will eventually drop even their astral body and experience through their Causal (soul) body and most commonly reincarnate in another body.

In heaven, a healthy soul would begin to see and conceive and feel the nearness of the attributes of God like never before.

It is a part of life after death question:

I don't believe in Heaven or Hell.
But my views on it is Heaven is what you make out to be and Hell is what you make out to be here in this world. Satanist believes they live in the here and now.

If you want to know what happens when you die then you have to wait...
if you want the truth about what happens after you die then the truth is we don't know the truth beyond that nor should we think about it. Life is too beautiful to waist for a promise of after life that has yet to be proven scientifically otherwise.

If Hell did exist as an after life though then that's the place I would want to go and live eternally with like-minded individuals. From how I see it, Lucifer/Satan made Hell for people like us who want independence, and freedom from god. He encourages those to seek knowledge and question and challenge authority. He encourages one to make his/her own path and this is something I truly value. God in other hand wants people to obey and follow without questioning. He is also responsible for many deaths in many theology. I just can't respect something or someone like god.

Those are my thoughts so there ya go. ;)
Hail Satan!

Having had a NDE, Heaven is what it is.....People's perceptions will influence what they see there; yet its qualities are definable and definitive.

It is a realm of pure consciousness beyond the materialistic dimensions; its qualities are in stages, first is unconditional love, which is a quantifiable energy, and then wisdom, as you approach the core of 0neness.

The source/core is like a point of all energy within the universe, better described as the CPU outputting the Matrix for reality to exist within.
i.e. Nichiren Buddhists, we believe in rebirth.
Nichiren Buddhist Heaven :innocent:
Heaven is on earth.
Oneness is within each one of us...As Heaven (0neness) is in the middle of pure consciousness, it is thus within everything....

Unconditional love and wisdom can also be attained by us, thus we come close to the qualities within Heaven, i.e. Enlightenment.

0neness is also well above here, as matter is made from dense consciousness; thus earth is nearer to Hell. ;)

Like going home after a long journey. :heartribbon:

Many Christians seem to think heaven will be some beautiful place in the clouds with angels flitting or gliding around. That may contain a bit of truth, however that's not what the bible tells us. Most of us will live on a transmuted (changed) earth, where matter is changed to last eternally, a place where disease pain and suffering will not exist, and where entropy will no longer rule the universe. It will truly be an eternal paradise. where we will have infinitely fulfilling and forever relationship with God. That my friends is what I have trouble waiting for. Still I am going to hang around in this decrepit, but wonderfully designed vessel of flesh, both a spaceship and a 'time machine' that has allowed me and us to navigate through our temporal universe of mass, harsh deadly energies, temptations and rewards for some more years, God willing!

That is an interesting view of heaven.

A state of being one in unconditional love? Those words throw me off. If you will have unconditional love, will you be a human to experience it? A spirit?

0neness is also well above here, as matter is made from dense consciousness; thus earth is nearer to Hell

Foreign words. Earth nearer to hell? Are you defining earth as the people on it who do and go through terrible things that would seem like hell?

Like going home after a long journey.

Exactly. When you reach home, are you a spirit, human? How do you experiencene it? Floating conscious?

What would this relarionship with god he like compared to the one you have now? Would you have a body to experience this unconditional love? What would you think you would personally experience (rather than only what people in the bible experienced and say) if you "too" where to share it lile biblical authors?

Heaven is a place where you get white wings for flying around, a golden harp (presumably with harp playing lessons) and a fluffy cloud to sit on. There are big golden gates where St. Peter sits to make sure no Jews or atheists get in. Every day you get as many pizzaburgers for lunch as you can eat, and everyone is fit and healthy without having to exercise.

If you can imagine it, after your karma has exhausted, do you just diasapear? A floating mind of perfect connection with Brahma. Connection as spirit? If you couls imagine, what ws you think that experience would be?
