The Emerging World Religion

Deifying self is hardly new. Satan has long sold godhood in some form to humanity, as religion, or as some deeper, mystical aspect of a particular religion. Where the leaven of mysticism is found it inevitably spreads to some form of union with God, meaning...belief in becoming God or merging with God. Mysticism is the key to a universal religion because it appeals to people on a broad scale. People of different religions must have a common factor and binding agent for a global religion and that is mystical, contemplative prayer. This unity of all faiths or interspirituality is the underlying herald cry and goal of the contemplative prayer movement and it is drawing people from all religious persuasions. Yet, while it entices many from “Christianity” it is something that can never be reconciled with the biblical message of the existence of One transcendent God, the Cross, and the claim of Jesus Christ as the only Savior.

I cant understand how god can be omnipotent and let satan roam freely on earth and create these false religions freely. Is this just some sort of comedy or something? is satan doing gods will?

The purpose of Jesus was to bring people to God. Not to form a religion called christianity.
Christianity is not the only way to serve God and his creation.
However, as yet, I do not know of a better way than to follow Jesus teachings.
But I do not believe any of the churches formed in his name, is inherently better than any other at serving God.

No do I believe anyone is excluded from returning to him because of a belief they might hold.

It's quite simple really...

If there is "God," what would seem more of "God"....

A unified, just, equal, sovereign/free, peaceful planet Earth or an Earth that fights and kills over religions, texts, has inequality between gender, sexuality, religion, deities, etc? Would a "Creator" be separate from "creation?"

Could "God" become mankind so mankind can become "God?"

One name(inner character/nature) under heaven(state of conscious) . . the nature/character of the "Christ."
Only the "Christ" isn't a literal guy/deity external to anyone other than what dogma has made "him" to be. Just as "Satan" isn't external to the human being either. Just as the cross isn't external to any human being, and just as liberation/salvation/freedom/sovereignty isn't external to anyone.

Name means: character/nature

Jesus, if literal, seemed very anti-outward religion and outward tradition and never mentioned a word about "Christianity." Even "Christianity" in the text of Acts wasn't a relgion but a way of inner being and people having everything in "common/unified."

The church buildings would be an invention of man to mislead/deceive many from the truth and call it the "house of God." When the church and house of "God" is within the human's physical body.

John 10:34King James Version (KJV)
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

I suppose Jesus would be with Satan as a seller than also.

John 14:20King James Version (KJV)
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. (How can this be anything but metaphysical and a merging/union?)

My thoughts are that I have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.

I dislike assuming, but it appears that mysticism, unity, merging or union with "God," having spirituality in common, isn't found in how the bible is commonly interpreted, and wouldn't be found in "Christianity" and of "Jesus" and that it may come from "Satan."

I think God is temporarily allowing satan to freely roam outside of His will. It is not a comedy or something, but rather a time of opportunity to see whether each person's allegiance lies first with God their Creator or instead with self or satan.

I don't think Jesus' purpose was about religion either, Christianity or otherwise. But it was about reconciliation between sinful humans and their Creator. According to the scriptures the only way of reconciliation is through Jesus Christ.. a Person, a living Being, the Son of God. not religion or mysticism.

I agree that Jesus did not endorse outward religion and that religion is very misleading. Jesus claimed to be the way, the truth, the life, and the door for anyone to have reconciliation and relationship with God, as the scriptures say He is the Savior.

If you have studied that verse and realized it is a quote from the OT you would know that Jesus was not calling anyone "gods" as in God the Creator, but rather self-proclaimed false gods. Do you claim to be God?

All of the texts that talk about Christ IN you... Is it a literal guy/person/being/savior that is impregnated within you?

Or an inner "way," of being, in "truth" and "life" which can only be found within someone.

Christ in me is a spiritual indwelling by His presence or Spirit empowering me to live under His control, but that does not make me Christ or God.

Who wrote this then? ......

Psalm 82:6King James Version (KJV)
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

I believe Jesus just said: ye are gods.

I don't see where it says, "ye are self-proclaimed false gods."

Of course I'm a part of what you call "God" by being a "god." I am a creator, and not separate from anything I was formed from... I create lots of things, any human is inspired to create either "good" and/or "evil." My thoughts, my actions, my potential actions, my every inner and outer design effects my inner kingdom and the external kingdom(my environment) as one micro piece of roughly around 8 billion others.

I'd say mankind is creating "God" however they portray "God" to be rather than "God" becoming mankind so mankind can become "God."

It's a balance and a test of faith, satan is running free among us

Let's test your indwelling. Hypothetically, let's say there is a place called heaven after physical death. Also, that Jesus is a literal guy awaiting.

You meet 2 Jesus's, both look the same. You have to choose which one to go to. One is your true Savior and one is Satan.

The first says, come with me.. There are no homosexuals here, no atheists, no Mystics here, Buddhists, no Islamic's, as they have never accepted me as their savior.

The second says, come with me... There are homosexuals here, atheists here, there are Buddhists here, there are Islamic's here, there are Mystics here, everyone is of equality/just, free, of peace, all different/unique but one together.

Which Jesus are you choosing to enter with?
