Why Deism?

Still doesn't help walking that fine grey line between discussion and debate. If someone posts some erroneous information or uses a logical fallacy, is it OK to point that out in a debate, but not in a discussion? It appears that objective qualities are being subject to subjective rules.

In practice, mods don't much care what happens in a DIR unless someone complains. When all the participants appear to be members of the group the distinction between discussion and debate gets really blurred.
The Hindus apparently had a big problem with this, so maybe the mods tightened up a bit. I don't spend much time there, so maybe I am misinterpreting what it looked like from the outside.
But I don't think they're going to care if you, Paine, and I disagree on various points concerning deism.

That's the problem, the rules don't define the difference between discussion and debate.

Coz,deism seems to be the mathematics that a supposedly god is doing for us. In deism there is no place for mercy,as the god has no mercy.

Of course there is a place for mercy, through humanity. Empathy is an aspect of our nature.
