Per a recent amendment to rule 6:

Rule 6. Illegal Activities

Encouragement of others to participate in any activity that is illegal under U.S. laws is prohibited. This includes the use of illegal drugs, infringement of intellectual property rights, all violent crimes, terrorism, criminal organizations or hate groups, and any/all criminal activities. Mentioning of engagement in any illegal activity, such as the above or others is also prohibited. Religious allowances are not basis for exemption from moderation. Members are only allowed in some cases to mention their engagement in activities that are illegal under U.S. laws if said activities are not illegal in the member's own country/state.

(See the part in red).

From here on in, if anyone wants to discuss anything having to do with the O9A, please feel free to create a thread in one of our debate or open discussion forums.

Please note though that all aspects of rule 6 will apply to any such discussions or debates.

Quagmire on behalf of the staff of RF.

Can't say that I personally disagree with that logic. Other than "the culling" or criminal aspects O9A really doesn't add much to the pie anyway since they mostly borrow from others, and to be truthful no one really knows who's running the organization even if there is one. It's mostly reduced to a collection of text files floating around the Internet like many other failed occult groups. =) We had some fanboi's here, but I guess they'll clear off after reading this.... harhar..

It may well be that prohibiting threads about the antinomian O9A in what is an antinomian DIR will actually enhance the antinomian reputation of the O9A.

Your opinion expressed via the internet, which opinion differs somewhat from what various academics (such as Senholt, Goodrick-Clarke, Kaplan, Per Faxneld, Monette, Petersen) have written in mainstream books.

fanboi's here
A pejorative appellation. If anyone cares to read old threads here relating to the O9A in which you et al participated they'll be able to judge the esoteric knowledge of those who participated.

I guess they'll clear off after reading this.
Three were banned; the few others left ages ago.

Opinions are like.... Ah, anyway.. I argue greatly against any esoteric knowledge on their parts because mostly what they spout is regurgitation from the source material. There are many other people on here who I know have actually _done something_ and they carry themselves a completely different way due to the experience thus had. Scholars really don't matter very much in these cases because few of them do anything, but read / compile / spit back anything... There are certain common experiences that most magickal operations produce and these people manifest nothing of it to me. That's all I really have to know whether they are effective in the mastery of their "system."

Thanks, Quagmire. It's Angles, not Angels, though. ;)

Perhaps, it was meant to be this:

Rosary Workshop: Prayer - (Guardian Angels)

Nine Choirs of beautiful Angels.

Indeed, and thank you!

However the author of that article you linked to doesn't know their classical Greek from their New Testament Greek, for a messenger is Κῆρυξ from whence derives the important term (in respect of Christian theology) kerygma. In contrast, an ἄγγελος (whence 'angel') is someone who announces something. Announcing something (to a person or to people) and carrying a message are not exactly the same thing. All in all, sloppy (mundane?) thinking...

Does 'the internet' have something to answer for, or what? ;)

"As for Magick, Pliny tells us, It flourished in Britaine, and that the People there were so devoted to it (yea, with all Complements of Ceremony) a man would think that even the Persian learned his Magick thence." Elias Ashmole, Theatrum Chemicum Britannicum. MDCLII. Qui est Mercuriophilus Anglicus.

I have never before found the order of nine angels interesting enough to notice.
But now I do.

What, exactly, is it about them that is being BanHammered?

Mostly the murder talk... Followed by the racist tendencies and fascist power trips in their text. Mostly O9A is a dead skunk on the road... Initially one has a curiosity, but one can't get past the stench to poke it with a stick.

Regarding dead skunk...Just one more thing before you close the thread.

The correlation between "hermetic planets" and alchemical processes proposed by ONA seems to me very reasonable. However other scholars / alchemists suggest a correlation which differs of what we read in Naos.

For example:
In Naos, the regime of putrefaction is associated with the Sun
In the Introitus Apertus ad Occlusum Regis Palatium of Eirenaeus Philalethes, putrefaction seems to be associated with the regime of Saturn.

Some alchemists consider the regime of the Sun as prescribed for the last stage of development of the Lapis, while other alchemists - such as Robert Fludd, and ONA adepts - place this solar regime in an intermediate position, at the intersection of the rising darkness, and the descending light.

Does this have something to do with the Theorem XVIII in The Monas Hieroglyphica of John Dee?

Kudos, because Dee is describing there a hermetic septenary system similar to the one described in Naos and in the Pymander chapter of the ancient Corpus Hermeticum.

That no one - outside of a particular esoteric group, instructed as they are via an aural tradition - has made this connexion before says a lot about the lack of esoteric knowledge of those who in the last thirty years have opined about that particular esoteric group and its ancient septenary system as described in Naos and other texts.

I have blessed you with my O9A loving pet or TKT for short whom has imprinted himself on your conscious and unconscious mind. Witness the sigil thus placed... a nose smelling O9As odor from a cosmically allegoric set of buttocks placed within a pentagon representing the elements of magic and epic cosmic humor, beneath the glyph is a crude wind-vane type contraption designed to show O9A preachers the door!

Tzah-Khahk-tee means "to make fun of" in Hebrew... As he is created he forms a mesh with every other servitor of this type who work on the collective consciousness of mankind to generate even more jokey-ness especially whenever someone considers to take O9A seriously to flood their collective conscious and unconscious minds with an assortment of puns, punchlines, and satire for any occasion in such a way that it would be pointless to resist the temptation to sling them around! Members of the O9A experience all of these effects plus another effect that allows them to take a joke and be generally less anal-retentive -- this will often manifest in them joking more and talking about something else besides O9A which even _THEY_ are tired of discussing by now!

TKT is encoded with a copy-paste function between O9A members whom speak directly to one another -- a parasitic copy will spontaneously generate in the mind of all present and feedback into the collective unconscious to supply source material for more humor.

May TKT bring all those that visit this post and forum much more laughter and joy at the expense of O9A!

Love,

Mind

Thank you for proving my point about those who opine about the O9A. As Aristotle wrote: εἶτα τὸν τὰ χαλεπὰ γνῶναι δυνάμενον καὶ μὴ ῥᾴδια ἀνθρώπῳ γιγνώσκειν τοῦτον σοφόν...

Would you mind translating that to English? Please.

It's from Aristotle's Metaphysics, 982a, and a rough non-literal translation (not from the internet) is: "the wise person is the one able to understand complex matters such as those that seem incomprehensible to [other] human beings..."
