Most of the vedic academics accept that it had been interpolated.

I have one thing and one thing only to say to you ....

the realizations of devotees mean more to me and many other devotees than the opinions of academics ....

Dear Ratikala, Shukadeva was Brahman himself, completely realised and one of the greatest advaita-vaishnawa, he didn't mention Radha even for once. Yet Parik****a attained brahman, he himself became brahman..

Jai Shrimati Radharani!

I am on the tram now to celebrate at the local ISKCON temple. I can't wait! Maybe I will even dance? (Probably not, I am very shy about that. What if people think I look stupid? What if I do it wrong?)

May Mata ji smile down on all of us today.

Hello..

Dancing on radhe Krishna naam should be emerged out through bhava, it shouldn't be intentionally ... Your mind should be merged in Hari Nama only...

Your blog seems interesting

Understandable to be shy but people shouldn't judge each other for feeling inspired to dance blissfully. Enjoy your evening!

I have danced many times at different temples. It is a very powerful form of communion with devotion as part of darshan, as well as fixing the mind in yoga and can led to mystic merging and invite many associates in all levels of yoga both past and present. It can also be in some rare cases a method of travel to far shores of places you have not been and easily to Hindu experience and adventure.

First, it is best accompanied by calling out to the Names in bhajans. Music of bhajans becomes a Vahana.

Then there will be a moment when you know to begin.

Standing, you can be giving Namaskar to the murti hands in what some call prayer position.

Then one foot sways to one side to the front of the other then back.
Then the other foot sways to the other side in front of the other foot and back.
Again. Again. To the song of the Lord.
Very soon, you will be helped, you will see, no problem.

And then, suddenly you will start to lift both hands in the air.

It is interesting, it seems this has been happening for eon thousands of years.

You won't have to be taught. Perhaps ithe notes and movements are written like dots and musical notations right into your DNA. It is that easy - once the ta ta ta ta starts.

I hope you all had a wonderful moment with the Beauty of Radha the Rani of prema.

... Whose garments are a *splendid* blue lotus
... Whose flower braids are *stunning* and shock one like the hood of a serpent
... Who can make even me dance
... And then reach hands to the stars

I am probably too late to wish you well, but surely srimati Radhrani will shower you and all of us with blessings.

I just wish I was there to dance with you.
It is not a matter of doing it right or wrong and realy apperances do not matter it is just a celebration of our joyfulness and of course love for our dearest mother Srimati Radharani.

Jai shree Radhe Jai jai Shyam

Namaskaram shiva fan ji

such nice thoughts , ....you are right there is something very deep down which the rythem of Kirtan and chanting brings to the surface , to me it is the trancendental sound of vrindarban , I only have to hear Ta ta ta , Ta ta ta of mridanga or kartals , I will forget this material world .....

you are right it is in our DNA , that is if the DNA is in the heart :) .....it is that spark of Krsna :) ...what else can we do but dance :)

one day we will all dance together , this is a nice thought ...it has been happening for eons countelss little jivas dancing with the lord :)
