Survivors & Descendants Of Holocaust Victims Condemn Genocide In Gaza

Obviously not. But there are alternatives to bombing entire neighborhoods to rubble, and entire families out of existence. If the US decided to employ nuclear bombs over Germany, and destroy everything and everyone, along with the concentration camps and the people in them, would that be Hitler's fault?

Common sense should tell you that this is not what's happening in Gaza because, if it were, the body count would be many, many times higher. Anyone familiar with military tactics will tell you that close-quarter urban warfare is terribly brutal even while trying at the same time to prevent a lot of civilians from being affected.

Secondly, Hamas has it within its power to stop the carnage-- stop launching missiles into Israel. Yes, it is that simple. And then turn the GS into a weapon-free zone, as the Palestinians agreed to roughly 20 years ago.

So does Israel, if Israel doesn't want innocent civilians to die then Israel could stop killing innocent civilians. Obviously Israel does not care about innocent civilians.

Complete, unadultered nonsense, matched with a blatantly pathetic lie.

For example, in the last 36 or so hours, roughly 135 missiles/rockets were launched into Israel from Gaza. Now, what do you propose Israel do? What would your country do, Cynthia? Just sit there and watch the fireworks?

A couple of days ago, a four-year old Israeli child was killed by a rocket from Gaza, and yet I failed to see you voice any concern whatsoever for that child or any other Israeli children. Why is that, Cynthia? Why is it that all I ever see coming from you are rants against Israel, and I can't remember any posts from you showing one iota of concern for innocent Israelis being targeted and some killed, including Israeli children? Why is that, Cynthia?

And why is it that you seemingly don't seem to have a clue about cause and effect, Cynthia? Doesn't Hamas have any moral responsibility, or do you "think" they're sub-human, thus having no moral responsibilities?

The fact of the matter, if Hamas stops, Israel stops, and Israel has declared that this is its policy with Hamas. However, apparently that's too difficult a concept for you to understand.

.

Agreed.

It is expected out of said user.

Is a little reason and rationality to much to ask for, when trying to keep a nation safe from admitted terrorist????????????

You seem to have a problem with the facts. Facts are Israel is killing innocent civilians, if a nation was concerned with international law and with innocent civilians it would obey international law and not kill innocent civilians. It is that simple, do you not understand that it is that simple.

But no, you rather get emotional and hysterical about any common sense criticism of Israel, I just do not believe that you are capable of thinking rationally or objectively about the subject.

I am neither a supporter of Israel nor Palestine because they are way messed up. But saying that the murder of so many innocent people is not genocide, because they are less in number and pointing out that the enemies of Israel kill others and themselves to justify it actually shocks me. Like Cypher said follow the international law and keep the innocents out.

And why do some people find it hard to believe that Holocaust survivors don't support this genocide? They said that they don't want any more killing, whoever is the victim. Besides they take it as is a battle for land and not religious war. Even if I were a Jew or Israeli I would still condemn it. There are some Israelis who does that too but nobody doubts the credibility of those videos which shows them.

maybe you should have stated that instead of what you wrote which has no truth in it.

Obviously Israel does not care about innocent civilians.

They do , or they would not help them in camps

if Israel doesn't want innocent civilians to die then Israel could stop killing innocent civilians.

Here is where your honesty is questioned.

If Israel wanted innocent civilians to die, as you state, why don't they carpet bomb the whole place?? And take back the temple mount getting rid of that eye sore placed on there by people who had he upper hand after a war in a different period?

And you seemingly have a real bad case of working out of both an absence of reality matched with a truly pathetic double-standard.

"The facts are..." that Hamas has launched well over 7000 rockets and missiles against civilian targets in Israel, and yet you pathetically blame Israel. And then when Israel responds, you do nothing but whine and distort reality by blaming Israel. "Cause and effect"-- maybe it's time for you to go back to elementary school and learn exactly what that means.

And over and over again I have asked you what your country would do, but you never answer that question. Give it a try, Cynthia. Or are you willing to admit that you have an obvious double-standard whereas it's OK for other countries to react in war even though civilians may be killed but it's not OK for Israel to react in war whereas civilians may be killed?

For example, should the U.S. have responded to both the German and Japanese during WWII whereas massive numbers of casualties died? And why is it you never blame Hamas for what's going on? Heck, one might actually think that you are operating out of nothing but sheer bigotry with your obvious double-standard. And then your obvious absence of any concern for Israelis is in sharp contrast to any basic humanitarian morality. If I'm wrong, show us some posts whereas you blame Hamas and show any compassion whatsoever for Israelis? I sure haven't seen any.

So, instead of just whining, lying, and making false accusations, why don't you try and actually answer the questions I posed to you, or is that simply too hard for you to do?

You seem not to understand that two wrongs do not make a right, just because your enemy is committing war crimes does not give anyone the right to commit war crimes, there is no excuse to commit war crimes and kill innocent civilians.

It seems Hamas has a tactic of embedding themselves and weapons among civilians trying to make human shields of these civilians. The horrific collateral damage I see is the fault of Hamas and their supporters.

Again, you have not answered the questions I posed to you, and exactly why is that, Cynthia? I find it very "telling" that you spout platitudes but avoid questions.

Another couple of questions that you'll again probably avoid answering: should the U.S. been brought up on "war crimes" when we bombed both German and Japanese cities (I'm not referring to the two nukes attacks nor the use of fire-bombing, btw)? Are any civilian deaths "war crimes" in your book? Does you feel any and all self-defense responses that could involve force must be avoided?

And again, what would your country do if it were attacked, Cynthia? I've asked you so many times without a response I've been debating getting the question copyrighted.

And finally, I went through "search" and went through three pages of the list of your posts on related subjects, and over and over again all I see from you dealing with Israel, Jews, and Judaism is criticism of each. Why is that, Cynthia? Where's there any sympathy for either of them, even Israeli children?

I quite positive I know why because the pattern is the same.

Good points, imo, but don't expect anything back from her in return-- she accuses, not answers.

If every government and police force used that excuse.. what would happen?

I don't know what the body count should be; I do know that these rockets are wiping out entire neighborhoods, and that entire families have been destroyed. I also know that bombing heavily populated areas is nonsensical, and far more terribly brutal than anything I can imagine.

Common sense should tell us that Hamas is not representative of the entire population in Gaza, and that their actions should not determine how the entire population is treated.

That is because you appear to be committed to not imagining the consequences of Hamas undeterred and even less willing to imagine an Israel with the right and responsibility of self defense. In effect if not by intent - your best case scenario is dead Jews.

I don't think it's an excuse but a fact. They are forcing Israel into terrible choices.

What possible other motive do you see for Israel bombing near women and children??
