Survivors & Descendants Of Holocaust Victims Condemn Genocide In Gaza

Over 300 Survivors and Descendants of Survivors of Victims of the Nazi Genocide Condemn Israel’s Assault on Gaza

We must raise our collective voices and use our collective power to bring about an end to all forms of racism, including the ongoing genocide of Palestinian people. We call for an immediate end to the siege against and blockade of Gaza. We call for the full economic, cultural and academic boycott of Israel. “Never again” must mean NEVER AGAIN FOR ANYONE!

So lets just let the terrorist run free flying rockets into unarmed civilians, where is the logic and reason?

I would suggest that you check out that website VERY carefully and see what else they say on a variety of topics. I have strong doubts is a real source of what it claims to be because it's quite over-the-top, including blaming Israel for "ethnic-cleansing", which is complete nonsense even if one thinks maybe Israel is using too much force.

Doubt its a credible source, would you believe in a news source if its called "International Anti Palestinian News"?

BBC News - Holocaust families criticise Israel over Gaza

Holocaust survivors condemn Israel for 'Gaza massacre,' call for boycott - Diplomacy and Defense Israel News | Haaretz

Also in the New York Times published yesterday.. Completely real.

They didn't address that.. But, I doubt that is what they would want. They likely want an alternative that doesn't guarantee that hundreds of civilians are bombed week after week.

Let's see …

The Shoah slaughtered roughly 6 million Jews. How many "Survivors and Descendants of Survivors" do you think their might be? And what percentage do you think we might have were we to divide "over 300 survivors" by this number?

The OP is silly. Worse, it's ignorant, proving absolutely nothing other than the rather underwhelming fact that "Over 300 Survivors and Descendants of Survivors of Victims of the Nazi Genocide Condemn Israel’s Assault on Gaza."

Your response to these people is rather ignorant. The number obviously isn't the main focus here; it's what the number represents. But then who wasn't already aware that there is likely a decent majority of Jews in support of Israel's actions in Gaza, and anywhere else? Even if it were one Holocaust survivor, I'd think that one would deserve enough respect to be taken seriously, on this matter especially.

What does the number represent? What percentage of Israelis support these actions against Hamas? What percentage of these supporters are survivors and decedents of survivors?

The OP is silly ...

I read about that a few days ago. They're good people. And if they dared to speak their mind in Israel like that, they'd be harassed and possibly assaulted. :(

I think it's important to realize that Jews are all over the place on just about any topic one might think of. On top of that, we expect differences of opinion and generally welcome them-- then we argue like hell. :slap: I'm sure there's still some flat-earth Jews around somewhere.

So to all you people objecting to this: Is people condemning genocide somehow now a bad thing?

Of course not when genocide is actually being committed or proposed, such as what some of the Hamas politicians have actually suggested. Also, al-Queda has also proposed genocide, not only against Jewish Israelis but also against Americans. And if anyone who is Jewish or Israeli or American threatens genocide, and I know some have, they should be condemned as well, imo.

People calling 'genocide' when there is nothing close to a 'genocide' is and has always been a bad thing.
