If you could be a part of any other culture, which would it be and why?

If you could choose to be a part of any other culture besides your own, which would it be and why?

I have a tough time with thinking about this myself. There are many beautiful and interesting choices. Right now, I'd like to say that I'd love to be a part of some branch of Indian culture. It seems gorgeous to me, despite some flaws. I also would love to know aspects of the culture that I know I'd only understand if I were born into it.

What are your opinions?

I can't really say without having been there. Germany looks good, and I usually get along with and like Germans. But because I've never been there, I don't know how much I could take of rules, procedures, and order. I think the bathroom attendants would probably take some getting used to. Water is also expensive.

Vulcan; it's accepted that they give snarky answers. I want to be snarky and self-righteous and get away with it. :D
Greek; the food, very lively people.
Indian; an affinity I can't explain.
Icelandic; as close to Old Norse as one can get. Icelanders are laid back and cool (no pun intended).

None. I don't identify with any culture.
I've always thought that all cultures are equal; so I can never choose.
It is called cosmopolitanism Κοσμοπολιτισμός

I have general admiration for Indian, Persian, Japanese, and German culture. All of them have made a lot of contributions to the modern world.

Real world? Japanese, perhaps Jewish. I would like Canadian, Neozelandese, Nordic or Australian as well. Or British.

Fictional? Vulcan all the way.

I admire Mexican culture very much. I like the music, the traditions, and the food. Yes, I like the food very much. And tequila.

The JET Program is one of my goals in life, so Japan is a goal of mine. So I can't rule out Japan. But, much like Germany, I have become accustom to a life of being able to do as I please versus rules and regulations and things you shouldn't say/do. Maybe I'll absolutely love it, given that I am normally very reserve, but I can't say until I've been there.
