Wow. That is ridiculous the way the airline treated them! They act as though he has no right to freedom of speech!

Technically, you don't have this right to the extent you do in a more public venue.
But this case is solely about one employee's caprice & revenge for an insult.
I wonder if she could be prosecuted for claiming a false "threat"?

I can't say I'm surprised. It reminds of the guy, after 9/11, who got in trouble, or questioned, watched, but had some sort of consequences to pay when someone overheard his conversation as he was telling a friend about the location of a bomb in whatever Grand Theft Auto game was out at the time. And of course the handful of politicians who found themselves on the no-fly list. And people who were disciplined for posting things on the social media account that their employer didn't like. It's pretty bad when it's not the government, but our fellow citizens who are taking away our right to free speech.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Well one thing. With all this disclosure we will know who the "jerks" are. Bad press for one airline translates to better press for another.

I see a no fly list being compiled for the airlines themselves. Personally I like driving or taking a train.
