Anyone else use Yahoo for email? Over the last year, they've taken what was a
pretty reliable & easy to use system, & turned into an inscrutable buggy mess.

Once upon a time I did. I stopped using my yahoo email addy a couple of years ago because back then I thought it was a buggy mess. It's gotten worse?

Yeesh. :(

This brings me to the question: How much sabotage is in the economy ?
Is it normal that the "Dreamliner" has many problems ? Are the problems, which Obamacare has, from sabotage ? When Toyota has to call back cars - who did the bad work ? This list could be longer.

I did. I don't. I shan't. I never will again......
I went over to Gmail 3+ years ago. No probs on gmail up 'til now.

These bosses must just wake up one morning and think ,'I know.... everything's running smoothly. Everone's asleep. Let's shake it all up and lose all our customers.....' :) ........ or something..... 'cos that's what they did.

It's far far worse now. Features change regularly, & become more cumbersome. It used to be that to enter a recipient for an email, all you had to do was start typing their name, & then email address options would pop up. But now you have to go to the contact list, & scroll thru it to find the recipient. What once took a couple seconds now takes much longer. The save a draft function is less reliable. I just lost all my work on a long email today.

Yeah, I hate change to something less familiar, but it appears that Yahoo is dying. Outrage is widespread, but Yahoo seems unconcerned, & they continue to Obamafy their software. Ya wonder what possesses people to screw up their product, eh?

You and your Obamaphobia! :D

Our main 'phone company (BT) used yahoo to reverse their internet service into. It slowly became complete and utter 'smelly-stuff' about 4 years ago.

Try gmail, at this time it seems to be easy enough...... hell, if I can use it, anybody can use it.

No phobia of him....just disrespect.
Is there a word for that?

For the moment, I'm composing all my lengthy emails on me trusty old BOS Writer (a British word processor I bought in 1985...with no updates since then). I'll print'm, scan'm, & then email'm.
BOS Writer mispronounces "schedule", but it runs on a bullet proof multi-user operating system, MBOS....known as "GSM" or "Global 3000" these days.

Only indirectly because of the small chance I might get an email from someone I knew years ago, but I primarily use Thunderbird to forward all my emails from the website itself, which I haven't been to in months.
