To be honest, the staff's actions, threats, and overall attitude in this thread rings of sexism. I doubt we'll ever get an MRA subforum here. The more the staff posts, the more the attitude shines through. Rick summed up the forum's view on men's rights rather succintly.
Bear in mind that staff who post on the forums don't necessarily post from the viewpoint of being staff members. For instance, I personally don't care much about a "Men's Issues" forum or the like, but I did say in this thread that I support it if enough members want it:
To answer the OP, I don't really care one way or the other, but if enough members want a Masculist DIR, then I'm for it.
So, it's not really helpful or productive to make assumptions about the intents of anyone, especially when you take one post from one person and assume that the whole staff must be sexist because of it. "The staff" is pretty diverse, and you can't really tell what all of them think based on just one post.
