What did you have for breakfast?

One of my favorite things to do is to go out on a morning walk, wander around then stop somewhere to eat. Preferably a place I have never been to before. Sometimes I get a great meal and sometimes not so great.

I found a new little dinner that I am falling in love with. Locally owned home-style cooking. This is the 2nd time I have eaten there.

I had a very yummy plate of steak and eggs with a side of bacon. I was very surprised that the steak turned out just how I like it and the bacon was just great. The hash-browns there are tasty, fluffy and buttery but not overly greasy. You could tell whoever was cooking knew what they were doing and not just following a preset format.

So what did you have for breakfast?

Scrambled eggs. One of my favorites.

We're out of bacon today, though.

The dinner called it the Montana Scramble.

It was hash browns, with cheese, eggs, and ham on top covered by sausage gravy.

Yummy!
