Grace without Blood and Heb 9:22

That's a good question. One in which I don't have a clear answer to other then I know the normative means by which people could see man and God walking together in history was to look at the temple; the temple was to provide a visible sign to all of the communion between man and God. For Christians, that is fulfilled in Christ but your question makes that moot since Christ hadn't come yet. I guess they would be given grace in the same way that people now are given grace that are outside the visible church. How? Well that is even debated amongst us catholics. We just agree that it's possible. That help?
