Speaking of Psycho, my husband once made the sound effects and pretended to wield a knife while I was in the shower- right after we watched the movie on TCM.

I also forgot to mention that The Birds is also one of my all-time favorite movies. I'd get kind of nervous around groups of crows, though. ;)

I really liked him in Gangs of New York and There Will Be Blood.
The check out any of his other movies you haven't seen yet.
He's quite different in all....
My Beautiful Laundrette, A Room With A View, My Left Foot, etc.

Cooler than most of you
Favorite actor:

Anthony Hopkins is probably my favorite but there are so many great actors our there. I'm glad someone mentioned Daniel Dey Lewis he's probably the BEST actor there is, if not my favorite.

Favorite actress:

Probably a tie between Jodie Foster and Francis McDormand. I'll give Kathy Bates a nod as well.

Favorite genre:

Do ridiculously bad movies count? Hehe. Seriously I love any story that involves unlikely heroism or insurmountable odds. War movies mostly.

Favorite movie(s):

Probably have to say Seven Samurai or Yojimbo as my all-time favorites. Although, with a cursory glance I would have to say there is one movie I've seen more times than any other movie and still enjoy watching it to this day (watched it yesterday, in fact). Die Hard. I can't really say its my favorite movie, but I've never failed to enjoy it and I can't even begin to say how many times I've seen it. There are a few other movies that are in this category but none that I've seen with the same frequency. Movies like Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, Kung Fu Hustle, The Shining, The Big Lebowski, Waterboy and many more. Whenever I can't find something new to watch I almost always end up watching something from this list.

Favorite director:

Sam Raimi is probably one of my favorites, and I'm really liking Zack Snyder's work lately. I absolutely love the Coen Brothers. But all-time has to be Akira Kurosawa. I have yet to watch one of his movies that didn't have some emotional affect on me.

Actor: Brad Pitt for sure, otherwise Keanu Reeves.

Actress: Megan Fox is a very good actor.

Genre: Usually SciFi/Action, and a lot of Westerns are pretty good.

Movies: The Matrix is my top one, but I have a huge list of my favorite movies.

Director: Well, I don't really care about who directs the film so, not sure.

I'm really disappointed that Batman dies with Bane at the end of the Dark Knight Rises.

Favorite actor?
Hard to say. Maybe Liam Neeson.

Favorite actress?
Meryl Streep, hands down.

Favorite genre?
Hmmm. Drama. I like movies where someone succeeds despite the odds against him, where good triumphs over evil, where someone comes to a greater understanding of self, etc.

Favorite movie(s)?
Dances with Wolves, The King's Speech, Pursuit of Happyness and quite a number of others.

Favorite director?
Don't really have one.
