Ask and I Shall Answer; An Interview with ForeverFaithful

Is there necessarily a difference for someone like Teresa de Avila?

Should it only be seen as a metaphor for church and god and not between (wo)man and god?

If so, why?

May keyboard is crap, but bear with me.

The Church is called both the bride of Christ and the body of Christ. When Jesus spoke to Paul he asked why Paul was persecuting Him (Christ)

As Joan of Arc said "About Jesus Christ and the Church, I simply know they are just one thing and we shouldn't complicate the matter"

And in that unity all believers become one

Gal 3;28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

We also have the imagery of being Christ's bride. It is a mystery and I bless God for it,

It should not be taken to me I have a female soul or that I should cross dress, but it does mean that like a wife we are submissive to Christ.

Hope that helped
