Soham, Shivoham & Devi

Marble

Soham means I am he, right, Shivoham means I am Shiva.
What means I am her and I am Devi?

Shaktoham sounds valid. Or a wild guess here based on my rudimentary (and I do mean rudimentary) Sanskrit: Aham Shaktasmi. Aham asmi is "I am". Sanskrit does have a conjugated verb "to be", but it's optionally used, and can be inflected with the noun. Aham Brahmasmi is definitely "I am Brahman". There is also aham devasmi: "I am God(dess)". Personal pronouns (I, you, we) are not inflected for masc. or fem. The beauty (and difficulty) of Sanskrit is that it is highly inflected and nuanced.

Does some know a Sanskrit learning forum?
I don't know of any Saṃskṛta learning forums, but I think most of them will be somewhat inactive anyway, unfortunately, but I do know that Agniveer do Saṃskṛta courses month by month which may interest you. Unfortunately you will need to know Devanāgarī to learn it, and you will also bump into a few compounds, but overall it seems okay. I keep meaning to start learning it but I'm so lazy.

Learn Sanskrit Month 1

Hope this helps. :)

I just wanted to ask in a forum for Sensrit language.
Sorry, I ended up sending you stuff to learn by mistake. :D

I tried looking for something, but I'm not sure. I thought I had something, but I have no idea about its accuracy. My Saṃskṛta is lacking.

Sandhi Calculator

Śākti aham: śāktyaham
Devi aham: devyaham

However, I don't know how accurate it is, because me inputting "Śiva aham" results in "śivāham". Hmm.

When trying (and failing) to find anything, kept bumping into the term "aham stri", if that is of any use to you?

You don't have an idea how to say I am Devi or I am Shakti in Sanskrit?

No, but I know of an interesting mantra from the Mahanirvana Tantra

Om Sat- chit -ekam -Brahma ll
मंत्र
ॐ सत्- चित् -एकम ब्रह्मा ll

‘I am pure consciousness united with the supreme ‘

It is from Chapter 3 of this text.

The Introduction of this text is one of the best explanations of Tantra there is around today. It was written a while back so the language is hard to understand at times.

I am of the school of thought that mantras come from some where. Like Scriptures or a great saint. In Tantra there is a very complex set of rules governing mantras each letter has a meaning. So I guess it is ok but.... you would need to be an expert.

Also in Tantra (at least the lineage I learned from) any mantra ending in Svaha means I am one with God ! Svaha is also what you say at the end of any set of mantras when you make your offering at the homa. Here is a mantra.

Om Hring Shring Kring Parameswari Kalike Svaha

Om The Infinite beyond conception
Hrim The stuff of consciousness, the substance of awareness, Maya
Srim Increase
Krim Dissolving into Perfection
Paramesvari The Supreme Divinity Female
Kalike She who takes away Darkness
Svaha I Am One with God !

About hrim I also read it's the heart bija and the most important bija in the Shakta tradition.

This is what my tradition teaches.

Bija Mantra for the Anahata Chakra is Yam. I have been told you should not chant and purify just one Chakra. Leads to problems. There are also mantras for each pedal on each Chakra. I don't know about all that.

Hrim or Om is the mantra we use for pranayama. It is a very important mantra for mother. Some Mother worshipers only repeat it for mantra they use. It comes from the Devi Bhagavatam and many Tantric texts.
