PBS had a good one on Buddhism awhile back -- about a year ago. I think you might be able to find a link to it on the PBS website.

I don't know about unbiased, but National Geographic's "Taboo" series deals with many topics related to religion, such as tests of faith, ritual magic, and rites of passage. It definitely gives you a better sense of religious diversity.

Cool sound awesome

Does anyone know of any Documentaries that are unbiased about Scientology and Mormonism, I've only seen negative ones

"When the Moors Ruled in Europe" hosted by Bettany Hughes and originally from the BBC is a neat mini-series about the influence of Islam on European culture.

Oh! And if audio will do for you, check out In Our Time from BBC 4: it covers all sorts of topics from physics to art to history, but they do episodes about religions from time to time. I think the most recent religion episode was on Shinto, but there are plenty of others if you look through the archive.

It's available as a podcast (on iTunes for sure, maybe other places, too).

Out of curiosity, is this series just about God as in the Abrahamic God or does it cover the full gamut of America's religious diversity?
It's a historical overview of religious history in general, Quintessence: origins, early colonies, development, controversies, notable personages and events, &c.
