I think that this may perhaps be the greatest illusion:

a wild guess, distinction between existence and non-existence :)
There's never a concept like non-existence, there's only one concept, "Where is existence"

There are only two locations for existence, first is "to-love inside love" another one is "to-love outside love".

What are they ?

"To-love inside love" means: In this location existence is always busy in loving-love, or God, or in human launguage we can say: always busy in loving-ourself. In this location existence always feel peace, joy, compleateness, and always fulfilled.

"To-love outside love" means: In this location existence is always busy in loving-time and matter due to the search of peace, joy, and compleateness. but as all this is a big illusion created by time and matter, it always remain unfulfilled and always keep on arising new desires in the search of peace, joy and compleateness.:)

That there is a God locked in eternal warfare with a Devil. Long before the Creation, God and Satan whispered in the Green Room their diabolical little plan: that Satan was to whip up the most horrific scenes he could possibly muster, and that God would send his brother, Jesus, to calm the waves via blood sacrifice. The scenes so produced would be so expertly crafted that they would have the audience (us) on the edge of their seats, firmly believing that what they are witnessing and experiencing is actually real.

Sometimes we see a Buddha with one hand held upwards, palm outwards. This gesture is a mudra, and what the Buddha is saying by it is:

"Fear not. What you are witnessing, as real as it seems to you, is nothing but One Big Act".

It has been said that, if you come face to face with the Devil, do not be afraid, but instead, compliment him on the quality of his illusion.
:clap

And now, ladies and gentlemen: the final unmasking.....

"The Green Wolf
with his bunch of Red Roses
is slinking away
all on a Summer's Day"

Seems to me that the belief so many people have that they know and understand some kind of ultimate absolute truth is life's greatest illusion.

Just think how different the world would be if everyone did believe that the devil did exist and that one day we would be judged for every deed. Surely the world would be a much better place if we all genuinely feared the consequences of our selfish actions.
"A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties and needs; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death." - Albert Einstein
