Well, apparently, they just won't flatten or spread or anything. So for the rest of them I'm flattening them just a bit prior to putting them in. As is...I have pretty tasty doughy little snickerdoodle cookie balls :p
I'm glad they turned out well! I used to use Sweet-n-Low
for a cookie recipe and remember having to flatten them before baking
otherwise they'd stay spherical.

As I sit here with my baked potato, I remember a poem my Dad liked to recite... usually any time he had a baked potato. :)

Where do you come from? Donegall
How do the spuds grow? Big and small
How do you eat them? Skin and all
Doesn't it choke you? Not at all :D

I love baked potatoes. Get a big potato and top it with butter, salt, cheese, bacon, sour cream and chives...you have a full meal right there. Or chili and cheese, maybe some diced onions. Of course, you have to eat the skin too, it's awesome. Oh damn...now I want a baked potato.

If you still have your books, you can still study.

Almost thought I was going to have to take my daughter to the hospital tonight. She had fallen somehow in or on her toybox and nearly bit through her lip. I thought she did at first as there was just so much blood it was hard to see everything. It appears that she bit the outside of her lip with her top teeth and the inside with her bottom and the nearly met as the holes just about line up. Of course, Turk is at work and my van isn't running (belt problem and battery now dead), so I had to call my parents and my father came over. After the bleeding stopped and we both had a good look we determined that there was no call to take her to the hospital as there really wouldn't be anything they could do. Poor little girl, bloody painful fat lip with her cheek hurt. :sad4:

Ah, that sucks Draka. It's never fun seeing someone getting hurt, and when it's someone you care about, like a child, i can only imagine it would be infinitely worse. You and your daughter have my sympathy.

I'm glad your daughter needs not to be hospitalized, Draka. Oh, say hi to her for me. Hope there's not too much pain for her. I have soft spot on kids. :)

Seej has given me a gourd and a crystal onyx bracelet. Those were lucky charms for good health, career and studies. The thing is, I don't believe in charms or the water dragon. And she knows it. Oh well, I'll give her a crucifix. :p

There is a Buddhist centre near where I work, I think I might go to some classes.
Other than that, I'm drinking a nice coffee by the canal.

Thanks guys. She's 3 y/o and such a little girly-girl. For a while she was clutching her teddy bear with one hand and a bloody cloth to her lip with the other, leaning against me repeating "I love you mommy". How could that not melt your heart?
