Amir of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Kababir, presenting a copy of Quran to the Pope

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, reaching the corners of the Earth. This is how Christianity would be defeated. Via the sword of love.

Why would any one Give the Pope a printed Quran.
The Vatican has some of the best, oldest and most beautiful examples in the world.

the word "Islam" means "submission" to God

there are many contradictions, between the view of christinity and Islam.

maybe because to let the Pope change his view about the mariage , and get marry and becomes father as his God (forgive me God for this exemple ).

What sword would be need to defeat other religions? Like Buddhism, Wicca, Islam, and so on and so forth? I didn't know we were at war with the main purpose of defeating various religions. Is that what we are supposed to be debating here? What weapons of choice to defeat religions?

Well both were spread by the Sword so i guess they could be defeated by the Sword ;)

Christianity and Islam were not spread by the sword. They were spread by word of mouth. You think they're popularity lies in threats and fear? People love their faith, they don't fear it.

How many wars were Christianity and Islam involved in,the Holy See of the Church was conquered or subdued followed by Jesuit Priests in the New World,ie the Americas,Islam relied on the sword too,ok both had their best days a long time ago but imposing these beliefs by the sword is written in history.

You think a sword was held to every person's throat that converted? Rome does not hold an army. They have a small group of swiss guard. Governments spread war and fear. Faith spreads through its own power.

So South America would be predominately Catholic whether the Conquistadors invaded or not, don't think so,the British Empire was made through conquest, empires seem to be made that way,it wasn't called the Holy Roman Empire for nothing.

Personally, I think it was quite an important gesture, on the part of the Pope, to meet with a leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, given that the Ahmediyya represent such an insignificant fraction of the Muslim world.

 What does giving the Pope a copy of Quran mean, exactly? This is not the first and will not be the last as long as the Muslim communities agree to keep interfaith dialogue.

THough with you comment, I get the feeling that your outlook is an aim to "defeat" us. Yet that is not true interfaith dialogue and peace, or even close to love. Love is the kind words the Magisterium teaches us on Muslims,

3. The Church regards with esteem also the Moslems. They adore the one God, living and subsisting in Himself; merciful and all- powerful, the Creator of heaven and earth,(5) who has spoken to men; they take pains to submit wholeheartedly to even His inscrutable decrees, just as Abraham, with whom the faith of Islam takes pleasure in linking itself, submitted to God. Though they do not acknowledge Jesus as God, they revere Him as a prophet. They also honor Mary, His virgin Mother; at times they even call on her with devotion. In addition, they await the day of judgment when God will render their deserts to all those who have been raised up from the dead. Finally, they value the moral life and worship God especially through prayer, almsgiving and fasting.

Since in the course of centuries not a few quarrels and hostilities have arisen between Christians and Moslems, this sacred synod urges all to forget the past and to work sincerely for mutual understanding and to preserve as well as to promote together for the benefit of all mankind social justice and moral welfare, as well as peace and freedom.

Pope Benedict XVI keeps the same flame of Love for peace as the Great Polish Pope, Bl. John Paul II
