Satanism & Objectivism

The Sum of Awe

Brought to you by the moment that spacetime began.
Do I have to practice or even like the Objectivist thought to be a Satanist? I agree with what I heard of Satanism, but none of what I heard from Ayn Rand

Can you give an example of one conflict and what decision Ayn Rand would make, what You would make, and what a Satanist would make?

To be honest, I haven't read much in Ayn Rand yet, and don't know how much left I have to understand Satanism (think I got it all but could be wrong).

Ayn Rand supports Capitalism which is all about producing and progression.

I don't know what example I would give in spite of that. Sorry.

If I may ask, where did you get the idea that a Satanist has to be an objectivist? Where did that idea come from?

Well, I was asking if a Satanist had to be an Objectivist. Anton LaVey said; "I now bring you Ayn Rand..." I forgot the whole quote, but something like that.

the list of things you must do or must be to be a Satanist, or indeed to associate with most labels, is very short.

Although Objectivist morals are very extensive and I disagree with them.

Have no problem with the Satanist morals.

Being that I only read the book Virtue of Selfishness -or half of it- I got out of it that she didn't agree to Hedonism, and I support the form of Hedonism that is in Anton LaVey's philosophy (get what you crave if it harms nobody that does not deserved to be harmed).

Ayn Rand basically wants us to get what we need to survive, and I remember in that book somewhere she turned down Hedonism.

Happiness can mostly be the purpose of ethics, but not the standard

Objectivism and Satanism do not go hand in hand. As Self-Aware beings it is virtually impossible for us to view the objective universe without personally imposed subjective overlays:

Satanic/Black Magic= The Art of altering or disrupting the equilibrium of the subjective universe in order to produce a proportionate change in the equilibrium of the objective universe in accordance with the desire/Will of the Satanic/Black Magician.

In the Black Flame.
