Hello katz,I haven't been on here in awile.I used to read stuff over here for a long time before I ever joined the site or the church. There was a member here a couple of years ago who managed to get me to promise to quit 'online investigating' and actually go visit a ward one sunday.I've been there almost every sunday since.:)Some who used to post on the cd site were a big influence too,ive been on there longer.I still go on the cd site pretty frequently but you've been doing such a fine job of 'battling the anti-mormons' that I haven't felt the need to chime in as much as I once did:bow:...unless someone really annoys me.Talking in endless circles gets tiring after awhile .....although I never tire of ysm over there, shes in a class all her own.It appears i've been missing some fun here however,i'll have to look in more often.;)

I could seriously use you help over there. Between twin.spin, HotinAZ, and a couple of others, sometimes I feel like throwing in the towel. And then, of course, there is ysm. Thank goodness she doesn't post all that often. By the way, a number of months ago, there was a woman who attended a Sacrament Meeting (it may have even been a Fast and Testimony Meeting, I can't remember for sure). She wanted to look into the Church but she wanted to talk to a convert and not a lifelong member. I believe she got in touch with you. Did anything ever come of that?

Well we're getting a bit off topic but there was a woman in her late 20's who pm'd me a bunch of questions awhile back. While my situation was a bit different as a 40 something man I think,or hope,i put most of the things she was nervous about to rest. After a couple pm's she said she was going to attend somemore meetings, but I havent heard from her lately.
Before you joined cd I remember going round and round and round with twinspin.Sometimes twinspin is the husband and sometimes the wife so its hard to tell which you are dealing with as they seem to share the same brain.Eventually though they get dizzy from all the circling and say something so damaging to their position that they leave the thread and go choose another to argue about.:DI suppose I should wade into the fray more often though since you seem to be about the only lds member still posting there regularly....but you rarely seem to need much help.:)

It doesn't matter that we're off-topic. This thread should have been closed down 150 posts ago. Apparently the legislature is not in session currently. I didn't realize that twin.spin was both the husband and the wife. That's interesting. Honestly, I really wish you'd contribute more over there. I feel so alone!

I didn't realize for quite awhile they used the same screen name until I was arguing on a thread and she had made several references to her husband inviting missionaries into their home to 'straighten them out' about what God 'really wants' and then several days later on the same thread when I refered to twinspin as 'she or her' I got a sarcastic reply that he was a he not a she. I fired back about the multiple prior 'my husband' remarks and noted it would easier to make a point without such repetition if I knew which one of them I was typing to. I further noted that 'he' quoted directly from the bible as to a question posed to Jesus but then paraphased the response of Jesus to the question.....because the actual response of Jesus in the bible did'nt actually prove his point nor refute or even address mine.I stated that since he had quoted the preceding verses word for word and chose to paraphase Jesus he was obviously trying to intentionall y mislead people about what Jesus said.He apparently couldn't figure out how to worm out so he just abandonded the thread.Another time he was happily fighting the good fight...until he went on a tangent about false religions.....and included judiasm in the mix.I inquired somewhat increduously if he really considered the religion that Jesus himself practiced to be a false religion....he lost interest suddenly in that thread too.

That's all really good to know. It's to the point where I am always on the lookout for something he says that I can report. June 7th and Miss Blue are such incredible mods. I swear, anything I report gets deleted immediately. They are really very pro-Mormon, which is quite unusual for non-Mormons to be. Anyway, it's good to know that you're still around, both here and there. I just wish I saw more of you.
