Does either family or the woman or man pay a dowry?

Defiantly Maybe, mine was paid for by me, her, and people from both sides.

Is intermarriage between faiths allowed?

We both believe in God, and together we make one faith.

Age allowed to marry?

US state law...

Engagements?

Yes.

Is Pre-Martial Sex Allowed?

Not suggested, but it happens.

How is Marriage defined (man and man, woman and woman, man and woman)?

A bride and a groom, and Man and a Woman.

Is marriage required?

Nope.

Is divorce okay?

If your partner is unfaithful, yes.

I think the previous poster was not SDA and a bit confused on the issue.

No one pays a dowry, they just marry.
You can marry whoever you choose
The Age allowed to marry is whatever is the law of the land
Many couples like to get engaged before they marry, and that is the norm
I dont think Pre-Martial Sex is encoraged and young people are taught why they should wait till marriage.

Marriage is defined by God and marriage is not required and divorce is allowed on biblical grounds, adultery only. I hope that answers your quesitons

This is all un-chartered territory. It will be interesting to see how the case in Michigan turns out. In the meantime, take my advise, don’t put anything in writing that you wouldn’t want your grandma or your kids to see. And, if you are reading your spouses e-mails, it would be a good idea to have their permission first to avoid Additional Risks Of The Social Media and Divorce.

can i ask i a Mormon can married someone from other religion?
Yes. A Mormon can marry another Christian, a non-Christian theist, or an atheist in a civil ceremony (i.e. a cermony conducted by any legally authorized person in any location outside of an LDS temple). The marriage is considered legally binding. He or she just can't marry a non-Mormon in one of our temples.
