Dawkins and Wendy Wright debate.

I agree with Dawkins.

Because Wendy never actually made a point.

I use to wonder how long one can put random words together without actually saying something, I have witnessed my answer.

To be honest, I had a really hard time watching this, Dawkins an actually evolutionary biologist vs. Wendy, who seems to have gotten all her information from some youtube creationist.

Wendy Wright has nothing to contribute to the dialogue. She's a vapid propogandist for Concerned Women for America, a right-wing fundamentalist Christian conservative anti-think tank.
Watching the interview is like watching a 550 lb. tiger toying with a mentally deficient parapalegic kitten.

Agreed. I'd like to see Dawkins debate a believer who was his intellectual equal someday. Preferably one with a liberal theology. Huston Smith, perhaps, or my own Rev. Dr. Bill Sinkford.....

That sounds fair.

Agreed. Her argument consistently went in the direction of emotional appeals, mock incredulity, simple denial and playing the martyr. Just another grinning mouthpiece for a movement that doesn't actually have an argument to carry into battle.

wendy sounds like a normal forum member standing up against a proffessional.

her only arguement is that there are no larger changes between species and where is the evidence

that wasnt a debate, it was a education with one person not listening

Seen this before.

Wendy Wright had no interest in listening to a word that Dawkins had to say.

I applaud R.D. for staying so calm. I'd have probably been yelling at her before it was over. :D

I think it was kind of rude to host an interview in the corridor her office building. I guess it could be a psychological thing or something to throw the opponet off or make him uncomfortable, I don't know if that is what she was doing or just being rude but Dawkins didn't appear bothered by it.

Most of the interviews Dawkins does are in some random hallway or room, where they just stand around for an hour. Doesn't sound like my idea of a comfortable interview, but whatever.
