Actually, I can't wait until America finally breaks off into separate provinces. That is the real change we need. There are too many demographs to keep happy, and the barriers are only dividing us further and further. Congress is supposed to work together to satisfy the will of the people, but now it's the work against each other only to impose their own will, and the will of the highest bidder.
I personally can't wait until big business, big church, oil whoring conservatives have there own part of America, and progressive, secular liberals who work for actual progress have their own place, Texas will be it's own entity, and then each group can be happy because they will be able to govern themselves, and the other party won't be infringing on what each particular group wants.

One doesn't have to look very hard to see what was being advocated in that video. Just scroll down on some of the articles that are posted on Yahoo and you can find the same heart-warming sentiments being shared there as well: People gleeful at the notion of going to war with liberals/leftist/anti-extremist sympathizers, and having chance to shoot them, of which will be an easy task because liberals "don't have any guns;" Wishing they could volunteer to assist law enforcement at rallies or protests supporting some liberal ideals so that they can have a chance to beat, mace and tazer liberals. Just some of things I've seen recently.

And let's not forget our good friends, the illegal immigrants from Mexico: There was a story on Yahoo about the number of people dying in the desert (men, woman AND children) had risen to 417 in 2009. I'll list some of my personal favorites that are just on the first page. In regards to the 417 men woman AND children that died horrible, excrutiating deaths in the desert:

- "BUILD A BIG, LONG, WIDE(like the great wall, but with offices and an internal tram) well armoured and with bulletproof glass wall the length of the us's southern border with a 1 mile no man's zone marked with large signs, megaphones and hopefully mexico's corrupt and complicit (in the invasion) governernment warning that anyon entering the zone would die. and whatever kind of wall they mexican government wants to spring for on their side of the 1 mile zone.

Turret mounted motorized motion tracking 50mm cannons along the wall/law enforcement compound. Cs gas mortars. Concertina wire (electrified) moats where possible.

We could do it for less a month of war costs.

Deport all the illegal felons here and their children and their children's children. All of that was predicated on a felony.

Charge the mexican government 1 million dollars for every illegal here. And 2 million for every new one.

The only people who flaunt guns up here are the wanna-be gangs. And except for these petty gangs that tend to be too high to cause trouble, or are so pathetically weak that they can't cause any real trouble we don't have a gang problem.

I firmly stand by my believe that most people who are against immigration, and even illegal immigration, are actually racist but don't want to admit it. My main point to back this up is that our northern border is hardly ever mentioned. Now, I am against illegal immigrants being pardoned, giving citizenship, etc., especially when considering how easy it is to legally migrate to America, but at least I realize we have alot of illegal immigrants comming from Canada. I also realize that the only real threat from Mexico is the drug cartels.

What this country needs is less federalism and more states rights.

That would be ideal, but I really doubt it will happen. Breaking off in provinces is much more likely since demographs in America do tend to show areas of multiple states, rather than individual states. The southern states for example tend to be very conservative, while the west coast tends to be more liberal. We also have the Bible Belt.

I don't want to go to war against Liberals. I hang out with you all. I have not even called for the impeachment of Obama unlike others who wanted to impeach Bush.

Actually, I have found common ground with most Liberals here. Your not my enemy, we just disagree on some things.

My bottom line is, "live and let live". I don't approve of abortion, but as an American, I realise I have no right to shove my beliefs down another's throats. Same for homosexuality. Actually, you Liberals have gave me cause to change my position on this since I have came to RF.

I believe in the system and think that all Americans will evolve over time. Liberals may become more conservative and Conservatives may become more liberal.

Moderates will decide things for all of us in the future as the political compass changes from time to time.

We all need to agree to disagree some times and it is my hope that all Americans will receive more freedoms not less in the future.

It does need to happen, and I agree that both parties need to work together, rather than against each other. But do you really think it will happen? When every Republican Senator votes no on an issue, and makes up lies about it (such as calling financial reform a bailout bill), then it doesn't seem like the two parties will cooperate. And I agree that we do need more moderates in Congress. Name calling and pointing fingers obviously isn't getting anything done.
