Sounds reasonable as Homosexuality is natural. Sounds good so far.
Basically it is a movement for freedom and rights for all?
In reality there is no such thing as freedom of rights for all. If the Gay movement takes it rightful place in society, those who oppose the Gay movement, will be stripped of their rights to have a world without Gays in it.
That is what I seen on TV and amongst the "nay-sayers", yeah.
Some agreement.
Yes, but this is false as it is natural, so we can exclude this one.
But I did notice that anti-gay movement and religious perception seem to go hand in hand, maybe just me but I noticed that, especially at home, the nay-sayers are always using religion as their reason.
Whats your view?
You can never exclude a view from reality. You cannot make it go away, just because you say so.
Homophobia is a human problem. It may align with some religious beliefs, but nobody in society is exempt from it. It is only your own belief that makes you want to align the religious with it. This is not uncommon, particularly in the USA where your perception would be distorted by the amount of radical religious nuts you have there. Hanging around forums like this, will not do your perception any justice either, generally you only talk to those who oppose your belief, or those that your own perception tells you is against you.
Same as first point isn't it, create a loving society where everyone is treated equal whatever color of their skin or orientation or beliefs, right?
Absolutely not. I have told you before of my involvement with the Gay Movement in Australia, where I became Gay due to association. The same as you try to make me a creationist by association. Nothing I am not used to, or been through many times before.
Please do not be under the misapprehension that all Gays are loving. Just like other members of society, some would stick a knife in you as quick as look at you. Such is the problems they carry. True some of these problems have been created due to being picked on and labelled by homophobes, albeit this is not all the problems they carry.
Just because a person can accept gay people and treat them as equal, doesn't mean they do not carry some homophobia. Here I have to admit some homophobia of my own which I had to get rid of. Whilst having a social drink in a gay bar with a group of friends, I was accosted in the toilets, the association being, I was in a gay bar, drinking with people who were gay, therefore I had to be gay. I was deeply offended. Coupled with this, when other people labelled me as being gay due to my association with gay people, I found myself defending myself, and proclaiming my innocence that I wasn't gay. These days when I am accosted in the toilets, I say, an honest mistake, take it as a compliment, and then say, do it again and I will drop you where you stand. It definately gave me a better understanding how women must feel when constantly accosted by men. When a homophobe wants to label me a gay, I am more than likely going to throw my arms around them and say, give us a kiss then.
But what I seen, and this is why I ask, is people talking about this as some sort of conspiract trying to "overturn society" and "destroy it", I seen this specifically from the right wing religious proponents of anti-Homosexuality, they say everything from that it is unnatural and evil and then claim thatthis "Gay Agenda" is trying to come into our schools and way of life and destroy us and all this.
Do you agree or disagree with this footie? Your own personal view?
Personally I would say you are viewing life through your own perception and not reality. Perhaps this is more so because you are based in the USA. Empty vessels tend to make the most noise, and cruel it for all the decent people in the world. More religious people say nothing, than those who condemn homosexuality. More religious people support homosexuality, than you give them credit for. Many homosexuals are religious.
