Not against you or anybody else, no.
I am only an expert in the use of certain adjectives and nouns, that's all.

And Moses arrived back in the camp with the Law Tables under his arms, and right away ordered the KILLING of THREE THOUSAND of his followers!!
Was he not the first to read that commandment?
There you are!
There you see that “Thou Shalt Not Kill” was never obeyed, starting with Moses and the idol he invented, Jehovah!
Exodus 32:28.

many have sinned against heavenly authorities because they know not those set above them-

i am hoping that this thread with its expressed anti-christian heading is not a disquised attempt to form some legitimate argument against any christian precept

The whole Christian "concept" is a fraud!
Christianity is fraudulent belief system, and Christians are its VICTIMS, those who give their CASH to perpetuate the massive fraud.
Religion is an innocent pastime between meals if nobody gets hurt!
You believe in God; I believe in Roquefort Cheese!

Why don't we look at this from a literal stance? (take it literally)

God the father has no equal as the head of the household should not have a equal in the eyes if his/her children. My children must obey (to a point) for their own good. I must punish my children if they do not obey so that the others will see the repercussions of nonconformity. I do not pretend to know the answers only the lessons learned from life.

Why must some try and distort facts (the Bible is factual weather or no it actually happened) the children disobeyed and an example had to be made.

Did Moses really commit murder or was it something else?

If you feel that way I am sorry for you and I have said a prayer for you. I am sure you have reasons for your statements and you probably feel justified in your anger and hatred for Christianity. DON'T PUT IT OFF AN THE FAITH put it off on some of the people.

I have seen churches ask 10% but it is a lie. The problem is lemmings, people follow a Church not the Bible. 10% of all things are Holy! and should be sold for 10% more. 10% of your increase, figure that out. every third year the tithe goes to the Priests and the poor, the other two you are to enjoy the tithe in the presence of the Lord.

It makes me sick to hear a minister speak of the yolk of bondage that was the old testament yet refer to Malachi and keeping the store house full when monies are needed or they are speaking of custodianship.

Point being Christians are not fools, I am not and if you think I am we can discuss it one to one. I have a blessed life and I thank God for it.

You need to understand what a fact is. A fact leaves no room for reasonable doubt. The Biblical canon, and every religious scripture, leave much.

Well, bless you.
There are many people that live great lives without any Bible to inspire them.
In fact, many Bible fundamentalists end up being terribly intolerant and vicious against those who live next door without any God.
The tithe is robbery in the church.
It was a failed system in Israel.
It has nothing to do with the church.
Moses imposed it on his slaves in order to have an elite of priests to live parasitic lives.
That's the essence of tithing to the Temple.
Please, stop supporting organized churches.
Do charity, yes, but only to real people you know in need.
It is the safest way to use your charity side.

I thought I heard my name called....something about a "charity side" :D
Just in case you don't know many churches who are Independent also tithe not just "organized churches"
Most every church uses their tithes and offering to benefit many charities and those in need
For your information I am not intolerant or vicious to those who live next door and I do so if I may say so "sir" resent your insinuation.....:slap:.....I only do this when provoked not because you believe in God or not......;)

Many people make the mistake of believing the Bible says, “You shall not kill.” However, the Bible actually says, “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13). The Hebrew word literally means “the unlawful, intentional, premeditated killing of another person.” God often ordered the Israelites to go to war with other nations (1 Samuel 15:3; Joshua 4:13). God ordered the death penalty for numerous crimes (Exodus 21:12; 21:15; 22:19; Leviticus 20:11). So, God is not against killing in all circumstances, but rather only unlawful & intentional premeditated killing or murder.

So as long as we believe in God, and he gives us the go ahead, it's fine if we kill?

Another dose of rhetoric, for goodness' sake! I'm tired of idiotic missives!
Following your point, I agree that "thou shalt not kill/murder/slaughter/maim/assassinate/snuff out/shoot/gun down/ massacre/slay/hang" is a commandment NEVER obeyed in the history of Israel.
Therefore, why keep the Bible and worship Moses and his idol Jehovah?!...

LOL and what would you suggest, follow you instead. Sorry, no thanks, I think I learned enough in the Torah, Bible, Quran, Veda's and Dharmas et al, let alone history et al to tell me how and why war and trouble starts.

Please tell me how Isreal could ever break a commandment, if like you have stated Moses never existed?

It's a massive conspiratorial farce.
The one million Hebrew slaves never existed. The Exodus is nonsense. The 10C are an illusion.
Israel is stolen land from previous owner who also stole it from others, and so on.

If that be the case why discuss it at all?

I call it factual because many Faiths are based off of it, not because everything in it did or did not happen. In life we accept many things as facts that are only theory and hypothesis.

He did kill a guard.
To kill is not a sin to murder is, circumstances need be considered. Do we have copies of the Egyptian legal codes of the times? Those would be the laws applied to this.

Moses was royalty! Did he break a law, or just **** someone off?

I say a figurative and symbolic view is the best. That can lead to far more discussions and debates than a literal approach. Through such discussions/debates, the texts can yield their deepest secrets.

No learned person would mistake a theory or hypothesis for a fact. A fact is something that cannot be reasonably disputed. Theories and hypotheses have not yet been tested, and thus cannot be considered facts yet.

I don't know if we do or not.

Prove it. If you cannot, these statements have no worth.

OK so the scientists that base anything off of any theory are nuts? Light theory cant be proven but we accept it as fact.
