Is it wrong to advocate homosexuality as a sin?

Since I last checked in, this thread has grown by a good 20+ pages. Let me see whether I can recap, rather than reading through everything.

Fatihah and Carico (and possibly others) have continued with their lies and ignorance, which included silliness like "homosexuality is only about lust" and "there's the statement, where's the proof" and "no, this is how you feel".

Meanwhile, Green Gaia, Autodidact, Father Heathen, Storm and others have refuted everything they said with logic and reason, despite the fact that the others have made it clear they don't want anything to do with reality, and that they'd rather stay in their fantasy world.

Does that about sum it up? Or did I miss something?
Pretty much.

:D:D So do you think it's just a coincidence that most people are attracted to the opposite gender and mating with him/her just happens to produce children?:D Probably so. :D

No, but what does that matter? Sex in humans is done for procreation and for recreation. Why do you care how others chose to enjoy their recreation? And why is it so very important to you that they not be happy? If two people who love each other and enjoy sex together just happen to be the same gender, so what? Does the fact that they just might be happier than you really hurt that much?

Fatihah: If lesbianism were a sin, wouldn't Allah have told us in the Qu'ran? Are there sins not mentioned there? If so, how do you know they're sins?

Fatihah: So some sex is an expression of love, correct?

I have God on my side and atheists don't. So I have nothing to fear and they have everything to fear. ;)That's because they don't know and neither do you that lust never satisfies which is why lust only increases lust until one becomes a slave to it.

But if you want to encourage your children to act on their lust, then you're free to do so. But they already want to do that so you have nothing to teach them that they don't already know and you are therefore useless as a parent. You will also be held accountable for their fate as well as yours. Again, the next best thing to repentance is justice and you'll receive it on judgment day for leading peope straight to hell. :)

Response: Yes.

So just because physical intimacy between two women does not necessarily lead to reproduction does not mean it must be lust. There is at least a logical possibility that it could be an expression of love, correct?

Funny, God told me He doesn't like you, either.

Hmm. I think you need to reread the defintion of "atheist." Most people aren't scared of imaginary beings.

Oh, good. So, even by your demented standards, not a one of my relationships, including those with women, were based on lust. I'm betting Auto and Green Gaia can say the same.

Actually, no, you don't, since there is no God.

No, actually, we don't, since there is no god.

You might know; I wouldn't, since I don't base my life on lust.

Well that's up to you. My life is about love, not lust.

So, lies and ignorance does sum it up, huh? Got it. Thanks for the clarification.

:biglaugh:And which god is that? The God of the bible? I thought you didn't believe Him? or do you like to contradict yourself? Or maybe you're so confused that you have no clue what a contradiction is. :biglaugh:It appears so.

I have said this before, and will say it even in this company, because it's the truth. What Carico and Fatihah do with it is their affair.

I am fortunate to have found the loveliest, most kind, thoughtful, considerate woman in the world. It is my extreme good fortune that she loves me, and I know with everything that I am that she loves me, because she demonstrates it every day. There is nothing you could say that could persuade me otherwise, because it is my daily experience. Her love is like the air I breathe.

As a natural result, because it is natural to love the good, I love her completely and devotedly. I am completely committed to her in my every action and thought. I strive to consider her and be kind to her every day.

On those rare occasions when we have time to be physically intimate, we do only one thing. We give and receive love, I to her and she to me. Again, this is something I experience myself, so I know it to be true. If it were not a physical expression of my love for her, it would have no interest for me, and I would not do it.

That's the reality that you have to contend with, if you want to somehow persuade people that love is bad.

Apparently you never heard of satire. Since I'm feeling generous, I'll spoon-feed it to you: anyone can put words in God's mouth. And that's all you ever do. You try to force God into your narrow little world.

Her nature.

Response: Exactly. You have no proof. In post 786 I asked the following:

"What is it naturally that makes a woman attract sexually to another woman but not a man? Your own answer will provide the proof."

So you respond in post 789 with:

"Her nature."

That's not proof at all. Natural means pertaining to nature. So according to your answer, nature is the nature why a woman attracts sexually to another woman? That's not even a congruent sentence. So sad. You want to advocate what your nature is not but can't explain what it is, nor do you have proof. Nature is the nature why? That's like saying 2+2 is 4 because it's 4. How absurd.

Like I said , you have absolutely no proof and your own words confirm it. Thanks for the confirmation.

Well I hope you enjoy your relationship because that will be your full reward.
Thank you, I do.
When you die (which could be as soon as tonight) it will be all gone forever.
Of course. If you were as lucky as I am, and shared true love, yours would also be gone when you die. That's life.
Your "happiness" is as temporary and fleeting as life itself.
Obviously.
But unfortunately, undisciplined people never look ahead. They only grab what they can today and don't care about the consequences. But since you don't listen to us, then you'll simply have to find out the hard way the consequences of your behavior and they will last forever with no way out.
Wait, didn't you just say that I would be happy my entire life? You wouldn't be trying to scare me by convincing me that you know what's going to happen after I die, would you? How stupid do you think I am? Unless you've been dead?

Again, can someone who understands both Fatihah and English please explain to me what he's trying to get at? What he thinks he's proven, and why? Because I haven't a clue.
