God is where Heaven is. To be judged you must stand before God. So to stand before God you are in heaven. God is outside of time. So there is not muich of a sense of time in heaven. 1 day with the Lord is 1000 years with a man. So yah if you died 2000 years ago, it would only seem to have been about 48 hours (2 days) since you left this earth. In other words the wait is not that bad. God waits to judge people on judgement day, hence its name.

Explain how these two statements you made are congruent:

1. "1 day to god is equal to 1000 years to man."
2. "God is outside of time."

If god is outside of time, everything in this universe would already have happened for him, there would be no waiting for him.

Yes, necessarily! In your description god is still experiencing time, just on a different scale than ours. So he is still subject to time and therefore NOT outside of time.

God's time is "put on hold"? If time is stopped for god, then god frozen, and he's unable to make judgments, answer prayers, and so on.
