Democrats Voted Out of Church

I find it very hard to be against prayer in school, hanging the ten commandments in the court house, or having a religious display in the center of town during the Christmas season.

I find it even more disturbing when someone votes for who will give them the most things instead of sticking to basic principles such as the right to life and family values.

John Kerry was the perfect example of hypocrisy. He said he was a Catholic and then defended a woman's right to abortion on demand. You cannot serve two masters. As hard as it might be, we all have to make a choice. If you want to vote for a candidate that would give a doctor the right to murder a child that survived an abortion, you might just have to explain your actions to your maker on judgement day.

I'm assuming you agree with excommunicating Democrats from the church, then.

The democratic platorm is clearly more in harmony with Christ's sermon on the mount than the intolerant, warlike, dog-eat-dog Republican agenda.

I would never had been there in the first place.

BUT one never knows when a church goes nutty.

It sounds like your heart is full of hate for right wing Republicans, Seyorni.

You should be careful not to judge people Seyorni, that is the Lords job!

Take a deep breath, exhale the negativism.

Why yes it was. It seems my hypocrisy knows no bounds as well. The difference is, You should not take as much offence when we are talking about Presidential candidates as when it is a personal attack.

Soooo, it would seem that we need to keep Republicans and Democrats out of church because they both are unworthy?

No, Seyorni is right. Conservative values are incompatible and irreconcilable with the teachings of Christ; love thy neighbor, turn the other cheek, judge not less ye be judged, not point out the speck in another's eye when you have a plank in yours, it's easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to get into heaven, render unto caesars what is caesars, etc, etc, etc.
Conservative values are also incompatible and irreconcilable with the values this nation was founded upon: freedom, rights, equality, justice, etc. So a Christian conservative patriot is an oxymoron.

Aside from being factual, what Seynorni said really isn't any different from the things you constantly say about left wingers.

Did you read the story, Rick?

btw, some people believe that basic (religious) principles involve loving other people, and basic (political) principles include respect for the Constitution and fiscal responsibility.
