Morality of Heterosexuality

Given that most rapes, molestations, and child sexual abuses are committed by heterosexuals, and given that heterosexuality is a crucial link in the causes of overpopulation and associated ills, are there any grounds on which heterosexuality can be considered moral? Please defend your answer.

you forget that the hetero population is overtaking the gay population with cases of HIV/AIDS - clearly the straight disease, retribution from God and all that.

You're right. Let's get rid of it entirely!

Seriously though, overpopulation is not a problem everywhere--in some cases the opposite is a problem. As in Europe?

Sex is a God-given gift, and with it comes huge responsibilities. I believe that anyone who uses it improperly will eventually be held accountable, in addition to the usual consequences involved.

Sex within marriage and only within marriage would eliminate a lot of problems in our society.

Under-population? Which countries? The UK feels pretty overpopulated to me.

Exactly so letting homosexuals marry is a sure fire way to save society as we know it. More people having sex within marriage.

Well, considering that there are about 10 times more heterosexuals than homosexuals, it follows that there would be more heterosexuals committing all crimes.

Being Heterosexual isn't a choice. I've tried to change to a lesbian, I just can't. I eat at McDonalds one or two times a week, watch every gay show I know of, and I'm very open-minded to gay-recruitors but I'm still straight. It's not my fault *shrugs*

Everything I like is either immoral, illegal or fattening........;) At least it would appear to be so according to a lot of people......
A lot of people also go with the assumption that homosexuals seem to be causing all the problems in the world, but really I have never known of a crime such as rape, incest or child molestation being done by a known homosexual....Since the population consists of more heterosexuals, I am sure the chance of having a higher percentage of these crimes commited by them would be greater....

In the defense of the heterosexuals, don't judge all as not being moral because of a few....

Overpopulation is a problem everywhere. The population "crisis" in Italy and other European countries is an economic crisis, not an ecological one. It's a crisis caused by an economic system requiring ever increasing numbers of workers to sustain itself; a system modeled on perpetual growth.
Obviously perpetual growth is, in the long run, unsustainable. Earth and her resources are a finite system.

Population growth in developed countries is an immediate economic
boon but an ecological and long-term economic disaster.
Population decrease is a short-term economic problem but an immediate ecological boon and long-term economic boon as well.
