Children

I have recently seen a couple of threads, solely to attack the new generation, what's going on? Is there a secret plan to wipe kids out? It disgusts me that certain people have such a stereotypical view of us teenagers and kids.

Are we really that disgusting?

Thanks in advance:)

Depends Upon My Mood..
No sweet heart you are not......I have a 25 year old son...an 18 year old son...and my baby boy turned 12 yesterday...

A 12 year old niece..and a 7 year old nephew..and all the friends..Ya'll are not disgusting you are precious..IMHO...

My oldest son is not married and has a girlfriend who is pregnant due in Aplril with a boy child whom I already love..I will be a grandmother..

Society as a whole if you ask me is messed up these days..but its not ya'll..Dont you fret you just be the best you can be..Be kind to others and to your self..

Your a great kid...and their are many others that are great too..My 18 year old would probably love to talk to you...He is cool too...Just like you...Ya'll are intelligent and introspective and precious..

Dont let anyone's harsh words make you feel shame..If you feel like you are on the wrong path or you are someohow in error you will know it..Then you make adjustments..

Okie Dokie??

Im not upset, it annoys me how adults purely think they are superior because they are older, not all adults, just some. They see us as the problem, and they do not wish to see the roots, THEMSELVES.

The old fear the young. I'm not sure why. Maybe when I'm older I'll understand, but I sure hope not.

I'm gonna guess those posts are mostly about the USA and I can relate to it in a way but the rest of the world is much different and I assure you its not the generation it is just a group.

hey homie, don't get the wrong impression. I don't by any means think kids are disgusting or anything like that. All I was saying is that it seems as generations go on, the amount of kids that turn out to be greedy criminals, idiots, sluts, and things along those lines is getting to be too much. I think that a lot of kids are great and good hearted, and mean no harm. It seems everytime I go out in public though the good hearted people are becoming the minority, adults included. To be honest the only people I can really blame is the adults and and adult role models of today's society.

Yeah when I was a kid that used to annoy me too and I agree that adults have a lot to do with it.

I have 3 children, ages 15, 12, and 10. They are the light of my life. :) Some teens can be very kind. The ones that are not get all the attention.

Ever noticed on the news they wont see the young lad openin the door for the old lady, or giving p their seat? You won't its boring. You WILL see pregnants 11 year olds and little rebels who think they are hard. You won't see the good majority, unless you go around and witness it, thats why there is such a view on children nowadays.

My view on children is not what I see on television, I don't watch television. I hang out with an adverse group of people, most of the time I will go to a party or a hang out spot for a few drinks, and chill with a handful of really good, awesome people, but about half the people will be ***holes, destroying things, fighting eachother, just causing conflicts in general. My younger brothers have little parties all the time, and I go to school events of the sorts, and it's just disappointing.

In all honesty, Adults do know how kids work, as they were kids themselves, and generally do have more life experience.
I am at an interesting point in life, were I see my older siblings kids growing up, and getting to watch them make excuse after lame excuse to get out of trouble, them starting to learn about adult subjects such as sex, and other things makes me think how much I have changed myself, since just 7 years ago I was the same age as my oldest niece.
And my girlfriend, who is three years younger than me, has alot of friends who are still in high school, which reminds me of all the petty high school drama and reminds me why I'm glad to be out.

I can say Penguino, it seems the only difference between your generation and mine is the music preference.

I find that it is wrong to blame the new society on its people instead of the ones who raised them that way-- I am not talking of parents so much as schools and peers and mainly the media.

If children are raised by the schools and their peers and mainly the media, the blame for that belongs squarely on their parents.

Yeah has always annoyed me too.

People do it to older people as well.

Why do we always have to define ourselves through what separates us from others? Why can't we focus on what we all have in common instead?
