Whoops! Mike won Kansas!

I think I'm really enjoying this primary. There's so much competition, it feels like it's forcing people to examine WHY they are voting for which candidate. Even if McCain still wins, having Huckabee in will keep them talking about the issues. Same goes for the competition between Hillary and Obama, although things must be grim for Clinton... she keeps crying!

(just a side note: I don't think Mike will get the nomination, but if he did, he would SLAM Obama in debates. I'm sure everyone would disagree, but I think I'm one of the few people here that have actually bothered to watch him debate)

Obama is kicking her booty with respect to fund raising, which to me is almost a claim to victory for him.

I'm not sure how much of a threat Huckabee is to McCain. He doesn't need to talk about anything related to Huckabee.

The AIDS comment was made by Huckabee way back in 1992 before he knew that AIDS couldn't be transmitted through the air or through normal skin contact (he thought it was a health crisis). He has since changed his views after learning more about AIDS. What would scare me more is that John McCain RECENTLY stated that he doesn't know very much about the economy.

Seriously, listen to what you're saying. Why don't you put your foot in your own mouth and actually go READ a speech that Huckabee has written?

I'd love to read the speech he gave when he came to Salt Lake to participate in the "Save the Mormons" conference. Unfortunately, the campaign refuses to allow people to read it.

The south really needs to catch up on that whole education thing. In 1992 it was common knowledge that you couldn't catch AIDS through skin contact or the air. I learned that in elementary school in the 1980s.

The only reason that there is competition is because Pastor Huckabee can't do math. His supporters obviously can't do it either. There is no way that he can win the Republican nomination. It's mathematically impossible. I can't believe that people keep sending him money.

You're kidding, right? I watched almost every Republican debate. Huckabee came across as a whiny brat to me. He wasn't effective in the debates at all.

Let me add, that I don't simply dislike Mike. I really think I might actually hate him. I was just trying to watch a video of him in the debate, and it was making me so angry that I wanted to scream. I don't have anything good to say about him at all. I wish he'd just go away and never show his face in public again.

Mike said he is in the miracle business, not the mathematical business. He figures as long as he is in the race that it will not be a coronation for McCain.

For an uneducated hick, Mike is pretty charismatic.

Actually he can still win the nomination, he needs to win enough delegates to keep McCain from getting to 1191 before the convention, at which point it would become a brokered convention, where he could then become the nominee. Of course, these are very long odds, but it is still possible.

If you hate him, then you hate him. I'm not going to try to convince you to vote for him because I know that's pointless. I personally agree with him on most of the issues and support him as president. Just wanted to make people aware that Huckabee wasn't educated on AIDS back then and considered it a health crisis.

It's not impossible for him to win the nomination. Mike Huckabee is not a quitter. Getting rid of the IRS would be a bonus.

The Huckster does not believe in science,
he also thinks women are here to serve men-- so no more voting ladies and shut up and get in the kitchen or on your knees(and I don't mean just to pray).
He also wants to put a 30% 'fair tax' on everything- that means the rich get richer and me- well I'm not the only one who will still be dog doo on his shoes.

there is a fleehuckabee web page that is very funny- but also worth checking out
