That's a really thought-provoking post about nostalgia. I consider myself a nostalgia-junkie of a kind; even mere memories of times past affect me in ways that almost cause my knees to buckle.. in a good way. But, seemingly like you, I see no genuine value in the indulgence in advancing my life in any positive way. I've always considered it to be an odd aspect of my personality; kinda cool to read it in your profile.

Exploring my past memories is something I don't get much enjoyment out of, but can't really stop myself from doing. I miss my twin brother a lot, but we don't talk much any more.

Many thanks for your backup on the "professor" thread. I am getting really sick of people calling me a liar, just because I say things they don't like, or question their beliefs as valid. An inconvenient truth is not a lie and an unintentional mistake is not some kind of planned conspiracy. Thank you for being the voice of reason, I really appreciate it.

I used to code in Cobol until I learned Visual Basic and then retired. It will be interesting to see how logical you can be in debates.
