I read a short story written by a fellow Kemetic one time about Yinepu leading the spirit of her pet to the Duat and since then I've tended to associate him with animals almost as though he were patron god of animals.

Do you think that's accurate or how do you feel about that connection?

When I pray for an animal or its spirit it is usually Yinepu I pray to.
