Haiku Poems

I know we have a lot of writers and thinkers here and I hope you will post your poems. I love Haiku and here are a couple of mine.

From cherry blossoms
the spider climbs down its silk;
our love too on a thread.

This week's catch piled high,
the prow rides low in the surf--
hungry gulls circle.

Here is my favorite haiku poem...

Life is pain,
a pin breaks the skin;
what life lies in the pin?

I wrote that a few years ago. And it won an award at my schools art exhibit.
